Admission process: 1. Admission to this college is based on merit in the common entrance test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. 2. Admission to integrated programs like BA.LLB & BBA.LLB is based on CLAT. Education : 1. Faculty is very much supporting. Education is Excellent. Their motto is to impart education like school. 2. For Delhi students distance is only 9.6 km. Students can easily up-down. Fimt campus 2. Campus of this college is not too big. Intra college sports activities are very less.
The distance between my house and college is too little then I can easily do up and down. It saves my time. The faculty is friendly. They have good experience in teaching. Many of them are old faculty. They have a minimum LLM degree and had done a PhD. Girls and boys are in equal ratio. Not maximum seats only those students who had qualified for the CLAT can get admission. Every year two-semester exams are conducted. Each semester has one internal and viva and in each semester students have to submit their assignments to professors. Semester exams are set by Indraprastha University. The difficulty level is medium. Those who have studied can easily score well. And sometimes it's based on checkers.
Last semester students become eligible for placements but only those students who have some skills. Different multinational companies visit to recruit the students from the campus. They offer an average package of 3 to 15 lakh per year. Only 40 percent of the students get placed from the campus. Fimt is the only college that provides its students an opportunity to do a diploma from Kathmandu with their course.
Fee structure for every course is different and it is affordable as compare to other private colleges. And their fee is not stable they change it every year and for every year student. Only 40 percent of the students get placed.
Fimt doesn't organize any fest. It is the IP University that organizes the fest on its main campus. Books of all courses are available in the library of time. All updated journals and magazines you can get there. They provide access to many online websites for learning and to enhance knowledge. As the campus area is small not sports activities are performed, students participate in University directly. 4. There are clubs and societies for dancing, singing and for other creative activities. 5. Social groups conduct rallies to create awareness on social issues like Beti Bachao, Beti Padhai.

Eligibility to fill the form of IPU CET, You must have 50 percent in your 12 th standard.
We are provided with various other amazing facilities. Our campus is totally ragging free campus. All the classrooms are air conditioned and the teaching process is done with modern techniques. We get 24 hours free Internet and a central library with daily magazines, newspapers ,journals and many more.
It is close to my home. The main campus is the best the University has to offer. The fees are reasonable due to it being a State run University. And the fact that I didn't do particularly well in CLAT or AILET.
One thing that is common to almost all the public educational institutions is that they have good faculty members and bad administration. It is somewhat similar for the faculty of law. The teachers are more than great but when it comes to the administration it may be a little troublesome. Generally the problem arises in the delay in getting ID cards, case materials, library cards, examination forms, admit cards and so on. But this isn't much of a trouble since there are helpful seniors who are always there to help you. Also, the people in administration are also not so rude and are pretty student friendly. My overall impression of this college being myself a first year student is much more better than I expected it to be. The faculty has great facilities especially in the new building called the Umang Bhawan (for Law Center 1 and 2). It has elevators, spacious classrooms, a seperate moot court hall, parking facility, canteen, and a huge open space in the backside.
I had to write the AILET examination for getting admissions into this college, I scored well in both the exam and my boards, I was shortlisted based on those two marks and was called for admission process. I applied online for the course after my results came.
We are supposed to be interning with a law firm, a judge, or any government/non-government organization before the recruitment to know and experience what a workplace feels like. There are a lot of organizations that come here for recruiting, government organizations like UNDP, UNICEF and some well-known organizations like Kotak, Indian Oil, ICC come here during the campus drive. Most of the students are recruited.
AILET (All Indian Law Entrance Exam) is the mandatory and the only requirement to get into NLU. I got a good score out of 150 marks and hence I go the admissions in the first round itself. You can either apply online or in person.
This course needs exposure as much as possible hence the college make sure that we attend internships to gain an experience of a workplace before being recruited, Our seniors have worked under judges, NGOs, law firms, etc. Some of the companies that recruit from here are Singh and Singh advocates, Lexport, Reliance, Indian Oil, Kotak. Except those who feel like doing their masters in law, which is a lot, rest of the others get recruited.
Overall positive remarks from my side. It ain't no NLU, but for what it is it provides exceptional quality of education, with nice infrastructure, good crowd and helpful faculty. I am content in what the college is providing in terms of quality.
