I chose this college on the recommendation of my relative who is a faculty in this college. The college is good in studies and placements. The admission process was very easy and smooth. The location is also great.
I would rate academics as average as there is mix variety of faculty available here. Some of them are quite good which helps us to grow more practically while some of them just come to give lecture and leave. They just provide us with Theoretical knowledge which is insufficient for getting us placed in a good MNC.
Placement of the campus is quite decent. At last everybody needs campus placement, which makes this university more favorable. Highest package packaged offered last year was 28LPA while the average package varies from 3.5 to 5 LPA. But as every private university most of the students get placed in mass recruiter providing 3.5 LPA.
Campus life is quite good here. As you can see student from all over the country. So you get to know about different culture. Also there are some foreigners students too so you get to know about foreign culture too. You can get a great exposure from the college.
College infrastructure is quite good. It is located on main highway from banur-patiala. So every basic necessary thing is provided inside the campus. There are many blocks. Campus is quite big with every stream having it's own block.
On the basis of 10+2 Result.
This is the college that provides most of the students with their dream package. They placed more than 90% of their students in different companys which is the record in itself. After getting my degree I want to work in top MNCs like google, amazon, Microsoft.
My sixth semester is going on and many companies have come for the interview but I have not been placed in the 7th semester many good companies will come to the highest package for 15lac and minimum is 5lac till now almost 60% of students have been placed
I chose B. Pharma as I am passionate about learning about human beings, medicines, etc and moreover what will a doctor do without medicines. The student ratio is good, there are alot of students and some old friends of mine are studying in this college. Faculty is average rated, I don't personally know the qualifications, they are educated but are not trained in teaching as one of the teachers teaches from the book by reading. End term exams were ok, we were given sufficient time to prepare as in COVID-19 times as well. Exams were not that difficult to pass, but in one of the question papers, none of the questions were the same as which were given in the question bank or important questions - which are provided by teachers to the students for the final exams.
It typically takes a semester or quarter to hit your stride. Looking back on those early days you may very well shake your head and wonder what all the fuss was about. You might even feel a little nostalgic! A few students, however, may feel overwhelmed and homesick for a while. They may miss their parents, friends, even the family dog. They may find that going to college is not quite what they expected. If this turns out to be you, take advantage of on-campus counseling services. Virtually all colleges have such services. Your health center staff can help you get started. They are highly experienced at helping students just like you.
