IIM-Indore is one of the most prestigious B-schools in the country and to be a part of the same, it is a next-level feeling. There are several benefits of being at IIM-Indore like the 'IIM name', facilities, exposure, learning level, internships experience, etc. Through a great CAT score, I managed to get admission to the institute.
The management course is divided into 6 terms for which credit points from 1, 2, 3, and 4 are assigned. Several assignments are also a part of the curriculum. There are a total of 70 credit points given for the same. The students are also allowed to choose elective courses from a list. The faculty is very good in all the fields like teaching, interacting, helping, behavior-wise, etc. They help in term exams by providing notes and simplifying our doubts at the last moment too.
Internships are routine and compulsory in nature at IIM-Indore. The B-school consistently manages the record of the internships completed by the students. The mandatory internships are usually in the Summer i.e., after the first year's end.
IIM-Indore provides bright final placement packages in topmost market players. In my pass-out batch of 2018-20, reporting 100% placements the institute was one of the top B-schools in terms of proving job offers. The highest salary package was recorded at CTC Rs. 50 LPA in domestic boundaries. The average CTC package came around Rs. 22.92 LPA. More than 160 recruiters visited the institute and made offers. The recruiting companies were Google, Amazon, HP, Bajaj, Axis Bank, Byju's, Cipla, Dabur, Godrej, Deloitte, Emami, Flipkart, ITC, Lenskart, Himalaya, Intel, MI, etc.
The fees are Rs. 1600000 for two years including hostel fees, mess fees, medical fees, etc. The B-school provides scholarships to the students on the basis of certain factors like family background, income, academic performance, etc.
With chilling February, the IIM-Indore fest 'Atharv' knocks on the door. Every year, the fest brings new surprises with news celebrity guests and speakers. The fest constitutes a major part of any IIM graduate and for me, these days were the most relaxing moments. The events include dramatics, LA, music, dance, gameshow, business events, etc. The clubs & committees are also the principal parts of the extra-curricular life as regular and random events were held and organized by them. Several social clubs are also there that look at societal issues and takes initiative to erase them.
The B-school has an amazing lodging facility with well-equipped infrastructure, food, air, and water facilities. The unity within the histel is also brilliant. The caring and helping hostel authorities are always there to assist you. The dishes of the hostel food are mouth-watering and the menu for the same is made in such a way that there is no break in the wants of the students.
The interview round at IIM-Indore is the final selection round. It consists of 50 marks. When I was being interviewed, there were several questions asked out of which some I answered accurately, and for some, I didn't have any idea. The panelists test the thinking ability, knowledge, and confidence level (personality). Keeping these in mind, they judge you and allot marks.
Students get opportunities in 2nd semester for various summer internships. There were many companies visited with paid and unpaid offers. Some of them are ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Swastika Financial Services etc. Packages offered rages from 1.5 LPA - 5 LPA. Depending upon the profiles offered. Every student gets a chance to sit in multiple placement opportunities. My plan was to get placed work for 2 years and open my startup.
Placement is 70-30 . In masters, 3 sem, the students are eligible for internships and jobs, which the college provides to every student. Every year number of media hubs visit the college to select the students appropriate for their jobs. I always wanted to be a Public Relations Officer, which I will be specialised in second year of the course. I can opt for a specialised subject in 3 year.
IIM Indore has secured 100% placements records where the highest CTC was recorded at INR 50 LPA and the average CTC was recorded at INR 22.9 LPA. Maximum CTC was offered by Amazon for the roles of OPs, category and program. A majority of the students were placed under the sales & marketing, and consulting sectors in companies like ACG, ACT, Accenture, Dabur, FIITJEE, and others.
The placement is really good. Generally, From the 3rd semester's students become eligible for campus placements. Various good companies like Asian paints, ICICI bank, Axis bank, XL Dynamics, Moira sariya, Byju's, Jaro education and many more visited till now. The average package is approximate 4 lakhs.
Like there is nothing bad, but sometimes it depends which situation in you are. Well our college atmosphere is quite good for technical studies. Sometimes buses get late for departure due to waiting for other otherwise it will be on time.
Placment and job opportunities were good in every 2 day there is a campus drive for final year student some of them are top MNCs and some of them are marketing with average package of 3 lakhs per annum. And our college does not provide any internship. We go for outside to do this for 15 days to 45 days

Our college provides good carrier exposure to the students and it is giving quality education in such a low fees.
I have a valid score of 76% in the MAT entrance exam. And then, I fill out the application form and then, I was selected for a Group discussion and then based on my score in GD, I was selected for a personal interview.
