I am pursuing my PGDM (General)/MBA from BIMTECH Greater Noida at present and can provide a fair transparent picture of the Institute. If you are scoring anywhere between 75-85 percentile and cannot afford to drop another year for your post-grad, BIMTECH is a decent option for you, provided you got some Industry exposure with you (in order to get some edge over the batchmates who are almost freshers). Placements are not a problem for a bright candidate and Institute does provide ample opportunities to establish one's career in the corporate world. ROI on the other hand can be a problem for many since it's below average. Food and Campus life are amazing providing an easy-living comfort.
Course Curriculum is at par with other Institutes in NCR. International Business, Insurance Management, and Retail Management programs are another highlight courses of the Institute. Around 60 students are taught by a single professor in the classroom. BIMTECH faculty comprises top-level industry and academic experts. Prof. Dhruva Chak who is an IIM A graduate is an outstanding Marketing faculty.
Internship opportunities from the campus are limited and marketing students are provided with core sales and business development roles. Major firms coming to the campus for placements seldom offer internships.
The placements offered are pretty decent and companies like Maruti Suzuki, WIPRO, KPMG, and Aditya Birla provide decent corporate roles. Top 20-30% of students get decent placement offers. Marketing and Retail Management students get good job roles.
Scholarship of INR 2,00,000 is provided to the students scoring above 85 percentile. 10 Scholarships of up to INR 2 Lacs are also provided to the merit holders of the supernumerary category from SAARC countries.
First-year male students stay in a hostel that is 1.5 KMs away from the campus. Female students have residential stays on the campus itself. Clubs and Conduits such as BIZMARK and Culco are highlights of the Institute and make sure the life is hustling and bustling in the college.
Hostel and other amenities are great and the food quality also is at par. The menu offered by the institute is made by the students themselves. The hostel/mess are pretty affordable and dedicated bus service is also provided for an easy commutation between hostel and campus.
Current Affairs and various social issues are given in the GD round. PI comprises one on one interaction with a faculty member and the candidate's background and understanding of the management programs are discussed.
The college has 100% placements. The highest package is 13 lakh and the lowest package is 3 lakh. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th trimester. Many companies visit our college. Although once the student is placed he/she does not get the second opportunity.
Placements in various sectors like FMCG, Retail, Banking & Finance, Human Resource, Information Technology, Marketing, International Business, Hospitality, Service sector and many more. As of now, the highest package is 12.4 LPA CTC in extra marks.
Students receive good placements from good companies like Planetspark, TCI, ICICI Bank, CK Birla Group and many more with an average package of 5 LPA. The main motive of the college is to make each and every student get placed in a good company irrespective of hard efforts made by the college.
College placement is quite good. In the First year, we have to do a summer internship. Many renowned companies like ICICI Bank, Bajaj, Paytm, vedantu etc have given placement to many students Right from the 4Th semester. Highest package I'd 8.35 lakh & average is 5-6 lakhs pa
Form 3rd semester passed students is eligible for placement. There are lots of company's visited for campus placement like Dhanuka, HDFC, Axis, ICICI BANK's, Bioseed company Bajaj capital or many companies visited for placement and 100% placement is there in 2020 max. Placement is 10 lac and min was 5 lac.
Food and Admin staff is not as per the words. Food quality is not that much good and admin staff is also not so supportive.
Overall I want to say that This is very good college for medium and Low size students. College provide a good education on cheap price. One more thing Rules and regulations are important for all students. If you are students of this college. You will have to follow the rules and regulations.
Criteria for getting admission in MBA is to give entrance exam and in graduation level there should be 50% marks. I gave MAT entrance, exam was difficult for me but I got the good score and very excited to join MBA in HBS and in graduation level I had more than 60% marks.
Internship programme are there in the college which is a part of college project. Placement teams call the beat companies to give internship opportunity to students. Internship selection also consists of group discussion and personal interview whosoever is suitable they are selected to work in the company. Stipend is according to company and performance of the student.
I gave CMAT entrance examination and i scored 49 percentile. I chose MBA as my career to know the market outside and to be a entrepreneur. There was GD and Interview before selection and discipline is most needed to be selected in ARMY college as Army is known for its discipline.
First of all to get admission in AIMT, Greater Noida you have to be a ward of army personnel, its only for army wards. Forms are filled in the month of December and selected students for GD and interview are called in mid of March. GD and interview rounds are conducted in AIMT itself and if you qualify both round results are given on the website of institute.
