I had heard from several colleagues and friends that the college was one of the best for management education. Also, I had done research about the college performance online and through various offline media such as newspapers. I also had a senior from my BTech who was enrolled in the same program. He helped me in guide further regarding the actual performance of the college which was quite impressive according to me.
It is quite great compared to similar colleges in the Delhi region. The finance professor is the best in his field. The operations and strategy/IT are especially good. Also, the HR and Marketing domain has decent professors.
Some major companies come to the college for internships like RB, Wipro, Accenture, Tata Consumer products, etc. The students are able to secure internships with some even getting dream second companies to offer in the second round. We also do get many offers of the live project opportunities time and again. The major roles offered are for the operations and marketing domain with a decent share of consulting and IT domains also.
Placements are good compared to colleges with a similar profile and affordability. The college is one of the best in the NCR region. All the students get placed in the college with some getting more than one offers also. I plan to go into the analytics and finance domain also complete management from the college.
The fee structure is good compared to other colleges of similar profile. Other than FMS and MFC, the college has the best returns on investment in the Delhi NCR and nearby regions. The scholarship criteria are also decent and merit-based. A certain percentage of top academically performing students get the scholarship from the college.
Not been on campus. Still online classes going on due to pandemic. But the online classes are going well. We have access to the e-library of the college as well as other institution-based subscription perks. Sports and extracurricular are also good in the college. We have a total of 7 committees and 4 clubs. All, engaged in various management domains as well as non-academic domains. Most of the committees are student-run with occasional guidance from the professors as well.
Not been to college yet. Online classes going on from home. But as I have heard from a point of contact, hostels are well maintained and clean. I have been to the college campus earlier and the locality around is quite open and peaceful in the middle of Hauz Khas.
The GDPI is also part of the admission criteria. Although, in my case, I got admission based on an academic and entrance exam basis as my admission fell in the middle of the covid pandemic phase. So, the direct interview was not possible.
