I've heard that this is a good college especially for B tech and now I have my personal aspects that everything was right. There is no compromise related to the study. The college also organises different programs as shaurya sports, freshers, Etc. The admission process is very easy here and all the faculty helps for doing so. We get time to due our fees if unable to pay on time.
I've chosen B Tech(CSE) because I wanted to do it from the beginning. I come to know about computers and programs, the excitement increased from time to time. In this college, more than 250 faculty member are there have great knowledge of their subjects as well. The faculty is well qualified and friendly.
This college offers internship but due to covid, I don't know too much about that. But a few days ago, the professor was talking about the internship program, but now our exam is going to hold, so they stopped and said we'll do an internship after the semester exam.
After the completion of the 6th semester, students become eligible for the placement and the college also offers good placement for the student of all the department. In this college, many national, as well as international companies visits per year and students, are selected by these Companies. Some name of those companies is Infosys, HCL, Round O Clock, TCS, Etc. The highest package offered by these companies to the student is about 38 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 5-8 Lacs per annum. More than 35% of students are getting placement from the campus. I would like to prefer a job first if I'm getting a good package from the campus placement otherwise I'll go for the GATE for M. Tech and then I'll do the job with the best package.
The fee structure depends on the category of the student. 1.If a student belongs to the General Or OBC category, and get admission here with entrance, then he will have to pay 50% of the total fees which is 45,000 Rs with a scholarship. In case, the students haven't got admission with the entrance exam, he'll have to pay the full fee(without a scholarship) In case, the scholarship doesn't come, the 45000+ 25% of college fees will have to pay with will be about Rs 70, 000. 2.For SC/ST(admission from entrance exam) have to pay examination fees per year and the total scholarship will be used as fees compensation. If a scholarship doesn't come, students have to pay just 50% of the total fee or Rs 45, 000 only. The campus offers good package placement
Freshers party are organised by the college and our seniors, everyone enjoys that party, And the fresher party used to hold in about October month. All types of books are available in the library related to all the courses available in the college. We do not have to spend extra money bor buying the which helps all the student and their parent too. The sitting facility is very good in the classroom. I don't have ideas about that.
Some random questions were asked by the faculty members and I tried to answer them correctly. They were just checking am I capable of doing this course or not. There was no group discussion, some logical questions were asked to me, The checked my intellect, asked about my hobbies, why I want to pursue engineering and if I want, the why from this college. It was a good experience for me and I also enjoyed that moment.
Placements get started from the end of 3rd year. Companies like Google, Amazon and De Shaw also visit our campus but very few students get placed in those companies. It all depends on your skills. The highest package offered last year was 43lpa and the average package is 4.5lpa. Talking about the placement percentage, almost all students get placed from Amity Noida. I plan to do job after getting the degree and placement.
Students placements start from 6 semesters and go till the graduation of students. There is a number of companies which are visited in college named as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. The highest packages are going up to 35 LPA and the minimum is 3 LPA. Approximately 50% of students are placed during placements session. my plans after grat=duation are good for higher studies.
Cause I researched about it a lot and I genuinely got an interest in it through the point that 1.it's related to Food and 2. The competition is less in this field. But as for the faculty of our college is not so great having said they aren't that well educated in this field or they don't have proper knowledge about the subjects. Just a few of the teachers are good..! and having a less no. Of student is not that great. The qualification is of a Ph.D. but the knowledge is not that great. Teaching methods to be the talk of isn't good some teachers just rant the ppt and go. There are 2 exams in one semester one is internals and the end sem +practical exams. And to be honest the exams are not that difficult except the biotechnology papers.
It is a government University, approved by UGC and AICTE, providing you with most of the latest courses and upgraded syllabuses. And up to date lab facilities. The college also has CBCS System in action.
The college just started the B.Tech course, but they are already working to get companies for placements etc. Recently HCL visited the campus looking for interns and graduates.
I chose this university because it's a government University. It was near my home and getting admission here was very easy. the infrastructure seemed to be very nice and the reviews were quite satisfactory.
We don't get any job opportunities from the college. Studnets just try their luck and they just try their luck at every organisation. They aspire to get jobs at highly reputed MNCs but don't get exposure
Unique course structure and world class research facilities along with innovative and modern day approach to learning and the infrastructure probably one of the best in the country. The university has almost all the teachers as Phd holders and has an extremely huge campus and provides the best facilities by far as compared to the other colleges. Boys and girls both are totally free to do whatever they want with no curfew timings or dress codes. The university is heavily focused on research and has a invested more than 300 crores in the last 5 years. Opened in 2011 it is the youngest university by far in the top 50 nirf ranking making it the only university to be so. And moreover the most important thing is that unlike any other universities this university has no reservation critieria whatsoever because the university is established by the philanthropist Mr. Shiv Nadar with an aim to create it an Ivy league college of Indian and spends more than rs 200 crores annually out of which only around 20% fund comes from the fees so the institute doesn't need anyone's money. None of the above mentioned figures and numbers are inflated and all can be checked online.
I have given the Exam of UPSEE in 2017. I got 37814 Rank and based on counselling I got admission in MIET. Right now I am pursuing B.tech in Mechanical Engineering Branch.
