I love to go to college on daily basis because of college friends, peace at Gurdwara Sahib and participate in college societies. The best part to see various activities at Beggars point and at Richer's point. The admission process for the course is merit basis and admission starts in the month of July. I would like to prefer this college as college staff is so cooperative as compare with other colleges, society activities, cleanliness is there in college, the environment is so hygienic.
I choose this course as I want to be a Punjabi lecturer and love to promote my mother tongue. The faculty is so good, teachers always in every situation and In this course, there are approx 65 students in one class. Every teacher holds a PhD degree in the respective subject they are teaching and provides all notes related to their subjects. As teachers are so good and also provide the best notes so study don't get so difficult, it's also make very easy to clear exams.
Companies like Internshala, Uneako etc offers translators, auditing, Marketing and many more for internships with the best stipend of approx 10000 per months. Various tasks for the same depending on the companies.
3rd-year students are eligible for placement. Companies like EY, Deloitte visited get many students from the college. Many of the students get placement from the college except those who wish to further studies. I opt for a master from DU after graduation.
Fees get hikes on every year but there is also scholarship related to subjects, department and also for poor students who are not able to pay their fees as a maximum of fees is refunded by college and many students get class topper scholarship etc.
Sggscc annual fests name is EMINENCE, it's conducted mostly in the month of Feb end and March. Sggscc library is the biggest 3-floor library in Du and all types of books, journal, newspaper and magazine are available there.

After 5th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. I don't have any idea about the company .but they visit every time and provide a good package to the students. The selection is the basis of there talent not by %
I am yet to sit for placements but I have completed one internship through college. It was with a well known Fashion Designer and I am so happy because I got to learn so much about how the real world of design works. Especially happy because I got this opportunity in my first year itself.
The faculty are not just teachers - they are my mentors. Very well qualified - all of them have been giving their 100% to make sure we excel in our respective fields.
The Tuition Fees Is Very Cheap As Compared To Other University's. I Dont Have To Attend The College Everyday. I Can Work And Study At The Same Time As The Exams Only Happens Once A Year. I Opted This Course As Its Suitable For My Career.
The admission to the college is based on the marks secured by the qualifying examinations. The ones who are selected will also have a round of personal interviews and then the final list of students seeking admssion comes.
The placement and internship opportunities are quite limited as it's a central government college. There are still opportunities for students opting masters but not much options are available for bachelors degree.
The aspirants are required to fill up a common registration form for Delhi University Colleges. One can select as many course as they wish to. The registration fee varies for students from different categories. Once the board results are out, the university releases a common cut off list for different colleges, for different courses. The students have to then go to the college with which their cut off matches with all the required documents to secure their admission. Apart from merit based admissions, DU has a provision for students to apply via ECA (Extra Curriculum Activities). The process for the same is explained in detail on the official site.
We have an active placement cell in college, but I did not sit for placements so there isn’t much I can tell. There are placements and job opportunities but they are limited.
