Hans Raj Mahila Mahavidyalaya is one of the best colleges in India and especially for women's development. I choose this college because it provided maximum opportunities to every girl in the college. They took proper care and the faculty the administrative staff the records of the college and the atmosphere was all perfect. I learned a lot from this college. They brought the best growth and development in me by giving me all kinds of exposure.
I studied B.sc medical (3yr course). I choose Hans Raj Mahila Mahavidyalaya because the faculty here taught us the best. They implied the factor of never settle for less and were very strict and disciplined teachers. Took proper care in both theoretical and practical lessons. The best part is they take mentoring sessions after every 2 weeks and tried to help not only in studies but in the overall growth of a child. This College had the best faculty.
The students preferred internships in the College by teaching and others tried to find jobs by themselves so most of the students had voluntary internships. And because the college taught them at their best level, the students were able to find jobs and internships Very quickly
Our college doesn't have Engineering and MBA so placement sections came for very specific courses like for labs and commerce section. The placement included giving packages varying from 2lpa - 4lpa. But most of the students opted for higher studies than placements and our college gave employment too to the students. After they completed their post-graduation with good marks, they can teach in the same college.
The fee structure was very normal. For b.sc medical, we need alot of instruments and equipment for practical labs and they are extremely costly. Still, this college tried to provide the best facilities at minimum fees. The scholarship is given to merit students who scored more than 80% in 12 and the 1st 3 position holders of class and university and gave scholarships to financially weaker sections and also to the single girl child or single parent.
Campus and hostel life were extremely amazing. Every year in the month of February the college conducted annual fest and sports meet for the students and so many special guests and celebrities are invited and every person had amazing fun there. The library is the attention-seeking point of the college. It is so big and beautiful and every book of every genre and subject is present there. Our college is famous in the university for sports. Every year during Inter-college competitions the 1st trophy was bagged by our college in every game either group or individual or athletics. There are groups for Science like CV Raman society, Red cross society, NSS, NCC and alot more is there
I have not seen better hostel accommodation than Hans Raj Mahila Mahavidyalaya. The hostel is so big, spacious and each kind of room- 2,3,4,5,6 seater are there, with and without AC, with and without Washroom. They had big halls for parties, study room, computer room, Big mess, Common washrooms were also cleaned everyday. Gyser facilities were excellent. The mess was good the eating facility and taste is good. The registration process included filling out a hostel form with parents' permission for outings and had proper maintenance of everything.
There was no entrance exam for the admission. We could go directly and seek admission there. When we used to go for the admission process, the teachers and guides were present who checked the admission form and whole process and helped in every problem we faced.
Students become eligible for placements from the last semester. A lot of companies like Microsoft, Google, Nestle and a lot of other companies have visited the campus for placements. High packages were offered to deserving candidates. The highest package offered was 45 lakhs per annum by Microsoft to a BTech student. The placement rate is high with above 90% of a student getting placed. I am planning to work in the food industry and gain experience working in the food business.

My Overall remarks the college is very positive.Noone is perfect everyone needs improvement so is the DAV college. I've written above where improvements are needed and there is so much underestimated in this college which the students should be thankful about. I wish DAV college emerges as a bright and top institution in future because of its student friendly environment, Eco Friendly surroundings, Cooperative Faculty (teaching and non-teaching),Library facilities and many more.
The trinity college is closer to my village and my entire family, cousins have passed out from here. I took admission under the management quota, hence my admission was direct.
The course structure is pretty decent and thorough. We got to learn a lot from the neatly curated course structure. The semester system of the course had a perfect distribution of the topics like western political views, issues and trends in India, Indian foreign policy, etc. The course structure really helped me to get a deep insight about the social structure in India and around the world.
Positive are a lot in my college first there is a strict anti-ragging policy in our college and it helps a lot in demotivating the ragging cause I have experienced this myself that ragging is not taken lightly here and it helps in the students cause we all know how bad ragging can get and here it's prevented.
All bad highlights of college there are no ac no fans in rooms in coumputer labs no fans pc not available for all students.
