LNCT Bhopal is among the top private colleges of the state. LNCT is enriched with highly educated and dedicated professors. The college is equipped with all the required labs with the equipment necessary. It has a lush green campus and a canteen with various food choices to chill in. However, there are some aspects as well which you will find less entertaining. The college management is quite strict with the attendance record and expects you to maintain 75% attendance compulsorily. The college hours are pretty long too, one may find it exhausting, or if you are planning to focus on something else with college, you may find difficulty managing both college and it. Also, the management is quite strict and you won't feel here like colleges are shown in movies. You are not supposed to be bunking classes, roaming here and there on the campuses. There is also a uniform code.
I chose this course because I always fantasized about electronics and I loved the curriculum of my branch. Microprocessors, microcontrollers, semiconductors are some of them, along with antennas. There are about 60 students in my batch and there are 3 such sections. Student to teacher ratios can be expected as 30:1. The faculty at the college is highly educated. Most have their masters along with PhDs with at least 5 years of teaching experience. Also, they are eager to teach you and solving every possible doubt you have. Most professors didn't even bring any material or a book with them to teach. They know exactly what to teach and how to. There are 2 mid-semester exams conducted during the semester between 50 days of 20 marks each. I will rate the difficulty level as 7 on a scale of 10. They are not very difficult to pass but also not very easy to pass.
LNCT is known for its best in class campus drives and training. Students from the 7th semester become eligible for campus placement and companies start visiting the college from the 7th sem onwards too. Mass recruiters like Wipro, TCS, Capgemini etc are quite common. They pick up around 500-600 students each. But it is to be noted that placements are good for few branches only like CSE, IT and ECE. Other branch students like EX, EE have to struggle much more to get placed. And the ratio is even less for the remaining branches. From CS, IT AND EC students about 65-70% of students get placed and for the remaining branches, it is about 30-40%. If you are not opting for the campus, students prepare for CDS, UPSC, GATE, CAT other such competitive exams.
The college is permitted by AICTE to hike the fees by a particular ratio every year. About 15-20k is increased every year. Along with the fees, bus fees is also charged whether you want to take the bus facility or not. The college hostels are pretty clean and cost around 75-80k for the Non-AC ones. These are 3 bedrooms. The ac ones cost about 30-35k more. If you don't want a hostel and want to reside separately, you can get flats for rents easily. The rent depends upon the location totally. Indrapuri, mp Nagar are some of the dense areas for students. And you can get private hostels here too. A single person can get a room for 3-4k excluding food charges. Food will cost you around 2-4k as per your pocket. The national scholarship portal offers various scholarships to students from various groups. I'm aware of a Jain friend of mine. As Jains are in minority, so he was eligible for the scholarship of 25k per year. Apart from that, update and AICTE also offers various scholarships too.
Srishti is the major tech fest arranged in the college. It is arranged every 2 years. Apart from that, cultural fest and festival celebrations keep going on. The library is enriched with a lot of study material. From newspapers to journals, magazines to 1000 pages books for every branch and specialization are available for students. The environment at the library is soothing and provide a great atmosphere for students to study. Classrooms are quite spacious with proper ventilation and sunlight. Sports and extracurricular activities are an integral part of the college. Cricket, football, softball, basketball are some of the appreciated sports here. Various Instagram pages, clubs like photography club, coding clubs are being managed by the students for their various interests too.
In the final year that is the 7th-semester placements came for students. Companies like Jaro education, Yash Technology, J.K Cement, and many others come here. The highest package is 7.5 LPA. While average can be 2.5 -3 LPA. Only 40 percentage students get placed.
In their third year student become available for upcoming campus placement offers. There's close campus placement and open campus placement both provided. For placement pre-selection criteria in 10'th and 12'th,60% is mandatory. there should be no backlog.
Students are eligible for placements in the third year. many companies visit the college from time to time like TCS, Zensar, byjus, etc. The highest package offered last year was of around 12.5 lac p.a. The average package offered by companies is around 2.5-3.5 lac. The college states that 80-90 percent of students get placements, as the matter of fact, around 60-70% of students get placements. My plan is to get a campus placement and get some knowledge about how the companies work.
From 7th-semester students, the company started coming for placement. There is high record of placement up to 90 percent. There are lots of company come for placement. The highest package is 30 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs.
I have very interest in it so I chose this branch (EC) Faculty are very good and knowledged, all professor or Ph.D. There is per teacher for 50 students. Teacher teaching skills are very unique and excellent. There are two mid-semester exams and one-semester exams in one whole semester. Passing exams is not tough if you have attended most of the classes, and practicals.
I got invited by the college as I saw it over a website. As a went their I took a tour of the campus then I was told to submit my information related to my academic life. All this resulted in my registration in the college. The reasons why I have chosen this institution is because of the facilities it provides. I opted my this course because I like coding and I would love to work in an IT company.
The placement of a institution is quite decent as it provides campus placements two most of the students as per their likes as well as knowledge. The college provides you with internship even if you are in first year though it is not compulsory. Thanks tution is also affiliated with internshala which provides internship all over the country to the students with experience. Always helps every student should get a better job.
