I'm from the north side that's why I choosen CU and I had tried for iits and nits and given the jee mains exam but I have not to get those that's why I choose Chandigarh University. And one of my is also studying at Chandigarh University so it is also better for me to join CU.
1. I have choosen a bachelor of engineering because I love Science. 2. I haven't visited the campus till now because of a pandemic but I this there is enough no. teachers for the students 3. They are not much experience as there is around 30 to 40. But teachers are very good in terms of teaching except for some. 4. In each semester there are 3 exams held 2 mid-terms and 1 end term.
Chandigarh University do provides the opportunity of internships. There are many companies that come for internships like tcs, Infosys, Wipro, etc. some companies offer intership in coding-based tasks.
I think from the 7th semester we are eligible for placements. There is no specific highest package for BE but Its average package is 5-6 LPA. I am planning to start a startup after my degree completion.
If I talk about fee structure then I can say that it is average or below average as compared to other private engineering colleges. Yeah there is the scholarship exam is conducted at the time of admission and on the basis of the mark, they provide you a scholarship.
Due to the corona pandemic, we have not attended the classes in the physical mode so that's why I can not say about this but yeah I have heard that the campus is cool and also the hostel life.
As I have mentioned previously due to the corona pandemic. We have not attended the classes in physical mode and we are not living in hostels that's why I can not say anything about it. But I expect that it will be cool.
Yeah, they are group discussion is happened in my classes. There are many topics on which Group discussion is done like business ethics, corporate behavior and they also work on our communication skills.
Chandigarh University is on the list of top universities in terms of placements, faculty, and infrastructure. Chandigarh University has an excellent placement record. Chandigarh University has earned the title of “University with Best Placements” in India. The university is having tie-ups with many reputed companies where students can do their internship and also get placement in these companies. Company's like Amazon, Google, Walt Disney, Microsoft, IBM like companies are visiting your university, it means your university has some good reputation. 31.77 LPA For Engineering is the highest package as per my knowledge. My plan after getting a degree to works for good companies like these.
The placement program starts from 7 semesters, the placement record is very satisfactory for CSE/IT/ECE student, about 90+ percent of students are placed with decent packages. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, TCS, Infosys (Mass Recruiting), Eicher Motors, TATA, Mahindra and Mahindra, etc, are comes in the college. For mech/biotechnology/EEE placement record less than 40%. The percentage varies from company to company but the minimum is 6.5 CGPA. The average package is 6.5 lakh per annum. The highest package is 42 lakh per annum. From the last year 2020. I have gained all industrial knowledge and now I am just approving myself for the best company.
There is a good placement opportunity for other branches. Big IT companies come for CSE students. Also, for the mechanical and ECE branch, many companies come and hire almost every other student. For the civil branch, there is no placement at all. Earlier, companies would come for civil, but sooner students got themselves into government jobs. So they stopped sitting for placements. Students can sit for the placements in 4th year (7th sem). Companies provide almost 100% placement offers to CSE students. The highest package offered was about Rs. 12 lakhs in a marketing company. I am willing to appear for government jobs.
When we talk about placement Chandigarh university has become the first university in India to hold Limca Book of Records for the highest number of companies in one academic year. * 350 Multi-nationals select 3750 engineers during 2019-20 * Companies offering 5 LPA or more salary package are 131+ with 650+ selections * Companies offering 10 LPA or more salary package are 26+ with 100+ selections * Top fortune among 500 companies select engineering student in campus placement (Microsoft, Amazon, Hewlett Packard, Bank of America, Nokia, Deloitte, IBM, DELL, SAP Labs)
Overall to complete graduation and to get a well-settled job and not too expensive fee this can be the best University. University provides good placement and job opportunities for the students there will be 100-300 placement for the students every year.
From 4th-year student students are eligible for placements. The highest placement offered is 35 LPA and the median package offered is 7.5 LPA. The college has its own placement cell so one can easily get placement. Many companies visited this college like google, amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, TATA, etc. It has made a world record of 1000+ companies visited this college. 70-80% of student got placed through this college. You can also prepare for the GATE exam during your B.Tech.
AIEEE and CET. I went for admission through counselling process. And I wanted to do computer science as my elder brother told me that this is good and we have good scope in this course.
One of the best things about my college is its placements. We have 100% placements. But for that a student should be willing to come out of their comfort zone. We have mentors to guide us but a placements happens when we ourselves put actual effort for that.
I had taken IIT JEE, AIEEE 2. in AIEEE 29000 and not selected in IITJEE3. This is the best college that suits my rank and branchit is based on purely AIEEE rank and merit basis and has its form name jac which is to be filled to take the admission.
Companies are: 1.reliance about 5.5 lakh, 2. hmel about 6 lakh, 3. infosys about 3.5 lakh, 4. petronet about 7 lakh and many more.
