The good thing about this university is it is providing my course and which is a good thing and lots of seniors and brothers have gone through Sharda university they said it is a good university. First, u have to fill the registration form which costs u about 1100. And then u have to give an admission test and after that an interview then u are selected. I got information about this university from collegedunia.com
I chose b.tech in cse because I love computers and programs and Sharda was giving me that opportunity. Faculty is good but some are still using their old school methods but overall they are well educated and experienced. Every 2 months, there are exams that are difficult to pass but are good for revision.
There are lots of companies like Amazon, Flipkart, dell, etc which offer internship opportunity. I don't have any idea about what all projects and things are happening because I am right now in the 2nd semester.
After the 7th semester, the student is eligible for an internship or job. There are lots of companies which have visited like Amazon Flipkart, dell, etc. The highest package for BTech cse is gone 70LPA told by the university. Around 75 percent of students are getting the job. I will do my master's after my degree.
Actually, fees is a little costly like my course fees are about 2,50,000 without hostels so fees are really an issue. The scholarship is less in Sharda university I have not got any test or scholarship till day.
This year because of covid all the fest is being cancelled so I have not enjoyed that part yet but extracurricular activities are happening and it provides u lots of things like drama club singing club etc I my self is a part of drama club it gives lots of opportunities.
Sharda university admission test
Mainly the topics were based on what u have studied in class 12th 11th and their main focus was on logical ability question in the written test but in the interview mainly asked about mathematics and topics like integration ,differentiation.I studied and revised my previous classes in the lockdown.
Almost 99 percent of student are placed who appear for placement and various student have many job offers some go for gate cat AMD UPSC and also start their startups this year highest placement of 27 lakh has been given by Flipkart
in our college placement are pretty good I can share my experience I am graduating in covid-19 pandemic time where jobs are going out from hand in that hard time our college arranges the company to visit our college and offer the student in my opinion till now the highest package is 10 LPA and the person got 10 LPA are not 1 or 2 they are 10+, In batch their 35+ student how got multiples to offer from top IT companies, in-class almost everyone is placed and still placement is running, in my opinion, college can bring the company to campus but it's our duty to convert it to offer without skills we cant do that, this is a bitter truth, so yes college do provide 100% placement to students, in 7 the semester the students are eligibles for placements are company start visiting the college for placements so at the end 100% placement.
The placement season generally begins in the 6th-7th semester but the preparation starts way before. The college gives training classes to help students prepare. This training helps in both placements and other competitions. Students get placed in companies like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and many more. Recently 65% of students got placed from the previous batch. The average salary offered to them was 5-6 LPA and the highest package offered was 19 LPA.
For placement, the 6th-semester students will become eligible for campus placement. But I want to make sure that there is zero placement for the mechanical engineering branch. The companies visited only for IT and CSE students and some for the MSME branch. If you hope that there is an on-campus placement for mechanical then please be alert. So most mechanical students search for off-campus placement a go for the preparations for a government job.
Students here are eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester. There are quite a few companies that come for placement such as Ola and many others. Well, the highest package received is approx 12-14 lakhs whereas the average package is 4-5 lakhs for B.tech students. Students should maintain above 60 % marks to be eligible for sitting in the placement interview.
I didn't wanted to join this acollege at all. but management anyhow managed to wash my mind. Which i regret today also. I will never recommend this college to anyone.
They are pathetic, they dont support or studebts dont get placed in this college so placement is very hard
