I heard from my friends that it is one of the best engineering colleges in the R.R District. It has well-equipped laboratories and a very library. The college is on 110 acres with a huge playground for different games. There is a separate building for each branch. I got the seat through counseling
I chose this course to become a software engineer. My dream is to settle myself in some good company with a good package. The professors of this college are very good. They teach very nicely. They conduct various activities to make us understand the concept of the topic. There is a slip test after completion of each and every chapter. Then Mock Test after completion of 2 Chapters, then MID Term - I. Similarly for MID Term -II. In this way, there is around 10 test in each subject in each semester.
As far as internship is concerned, I don't have much idea about it as I said it is my first year second semester, and moreover, I completed this first semester in Covid. Hardly, I went to college for 1-2 months
The students are eligible for campus placements from the fourth-year first semester. Different companies like Infosys, Amway, Wipro, Amazon, NIITT etch companies visited and I think 30% of the students get placed in the campus drives. Some of the students opt for higher studies abroad, and some of the students go into business with their parents.
The fees in this college are reasonable. I got the admission through convener quota. so I don't have that much idea about the exact fee for each course. I have applied for a scholarship and waiting for the amount
Our college has an annual fest and tech fest every year either in the month of December or January. But this year our college could not celebrate any of this fest due to Covid-19. We have a very big library with lots of reference books. Classrooms are very spacious with a projector in every classroom. We have different clubs in our college like dance club, Mehandi club, music club, poetry club, young orator club and so on.
There was no either group discussion, interview or written test for me as I got the seat through the convener quota. Some of my classmates took the admission through management quota, where they have to undergo all this process of attending group discussions, interviews,s, and written tests.
After 3-2, itself companies visit the college and you are eligible to sit in the campus placement drive There are only a few that visit our campus even though they offer less income like 2.6 LPA etc. Most of the students find the job in another way like the apply for TCS, CONGNIZENT, BYJUS etc. Out of the campus when I got into TCS off campus only. You should maintain a good cgpa of 7.5+. Name of some company visited: I don't remember those names. The highest package offered: 6lpa Average package: 3.6lpa Profiles offered: assistant system engineering Back end developer, Front end developer, Full-stack developer etc. Percentage of students getting placements : Off-campus 85%: My plan is simply that I have to get a good job in the core itself. Yes, our university offers placements for the students. From the final year 1st semester, students can be eligible for the campus placements. Many companies related to various branches visit every year like Tata, Infosys, TCL and so on. On an average scale, students of our university get 5 lakhs per annum jobs and if we talk about the highest salary it may be around 8 to 9 Lakhs per annum. A maximum number of students like 75% out of 100% students will be placed every year. Personally iam preparing for government jobs. I'm willing to get a central government job.
To our college, we get placements from well-known companies like Wipro, TCS, Google, and etc. In the 3rd year of engineering (semester 2), we get placements at our college. 7 LPA and 4 LPA are the highest and average packages as per the company and profiles offered. The percentage to get placed is a minimum of 70%. The main plan after getting the degree is to settle in a well-known company and fulfill my parent's dreams.
The placement cell is quite average compared to another college. Even the college is found by CBES"CHAITANYA BJARATHI EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY "you can't expect more placements. And one of the good things is that placements are increasing year by year.
