My college has very good infrastructure compared to other south campus colleges. All the staff members and teachers are very well educated and helpful. Teachers do their best to clear all our doubts and concepts even in online classes. The student crowd is also very decent. The admission process is the same as other du colleges. This year due to lock down all the admission process done in an online way. For more info, you can visit du website. Preference to this college over others is good faculty, infrastructure, good crowd, near to my house and I'm getting easily admission.
I had chosen this course because I wanted to do both maths and English and I am getting both in B. A programme eng+ maths. Most of the students opted for B. A programme in different subject combination so the number of BA programme is basically higher than any other course students. The teacher method of teaching is very good like English faculty is very much good if you wanted to opt for English this college has one of the best teachers. The teaching way is very good and understandable. Exams are taken semester wise total of six semester two semester per year. The exam level was not much difficult but checking was strict. Gain good marks is very difficult due to strict checking
As i did not perform any internship so I did not know the name of any internship. But there are several internships offered during the whole year. Many certify work was also conducted. There are many projects both social and non-social.
During the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Many reputed companies visit our colleges for placement. The highest salary offered was near 7 lakh p.a. 40 to 50 % students are getting placements. My plans are to do preparation for government sector exams.
Fees are 11000 p.a which is not too much compare to other private colleges but there are many scholarships and policies for students from the reserved categories. Many competitions are also conducted for students which also include money prizes. The job also provided by good companies.
Due to covid freshers were done in an online way which we did not enjoy obviously. But I heard that the fest of my college are very much good they invite guest also. Fest is likely conducted in January and February. Most of the books are available in the library. Sports activities are also very good and conducted very often
The admission process is all online you have to visit the du official website where you can fill the form both merit and entrance-based admission is done. Based on your interest you can choose. Admission is also done from the EWS quota. I did my admission on a merit basis so there is no GD, no interview, or any test.
The placements in our college are good when you complete your degree. Many companies visit here for providing placements to students. For instance, EY, infotech, Wipro, etc. I don't know about the exact packages students would get but yes the packages they provide are really good for the students who have done their graduation recently. If you want to get good placements or your dream placements ao you need to score at least 80% or above. So, I'm planning to do masters
Students likely to get campus placements after the 5th and 6th semesters and a lot of companies visited and hired a lot of students like Religare, ey, etc, and many more. the highest package goes up to around 10-11 lacs per anum and average 6-7 lacs per anum and %age of getting placements is approx 60-70%.my plans after graduation is to do MBA.
As I already mentioned earlier I want to prepare for civil services that is why I chose this subject. I also love political science and I think history is actually one of the important subjects to prepare for civil services. College offers nine undergraduate honors courses, various bachelor program courses, and add-on language courses. There are 94 permanent, 18 guests, and 35 temporary faculty members. The student strength is 2531. The teacher-pupil ratio is 1:18. Teachers are mostly experienced and really good with their subjects but there are some teachers who can just change their methods of teaching otherwise they are also good. Exams are tough but not tough, I mean I can't say if they are tough or not but you should be attentive in your classes and through with topics and syllabus.
From the last semester that is the sixth semester a person becomes eligible for job placement and there are many job fairs that are done in college for the same. Teachers guide us too to interview in certain organizations. Many companies visited the campus, coca-cola, Infosys, etc, and certain NGO organizations too.
The placements rate is not really high. But there are few companies that usually come to recruit you. You will be eligible only if you have scored atleast 60-65%. The highest placement is around 4.5 to 6 LPA and the average package is around 2.5 LPA. You can also go for off campus drives in case you have bigger plans and you don't want to settle for ordinary.
Placements are very good in our college. The package provided in our college is one of the highest here. 70% of economics students got placed to very good companies with package 7+ lacks per annum. The highest package was 15 lakh per annum and the average is 8-9 lakh. I want to do my masters after college. So I am applying for colleges that have wonderful masters in Economics opportunities like ISI, DSE, JNu, IGIDR etc.
From 1st year only students become eligible for campus placement. Though they won't get higher packages . In their third year, they may get packages upto 20 lacs. We have a placement cell in our College that brings more than 30 companies every year and they select skilled and creative students.
Most students who have completed the third year become eligible for campus placements that to from the commerce department mostly. The percentage of students getting placed lies in the middle. However, there are a decent amount of companies that visit the college during the placement time and give due recognition to the students for their work. Ask for my course and future plans are concerned I wish to do my post-graduation and literature and venture into the field of writing, editing and creating content
College does not provide any internship, If you want an internship then you have to apply on your own. Though college does provide placements. Very few placements are there now due to this covid situation. The only option is to pursue masters then only you can get jobs as the BA degree do not give you better options for jobs. 30% of college students got placements and those were the topper students and their package was 3 lacs per annum only.
No entrance exam taken. Mathematics is one of the most sought after course globally. Also, SSC has the best faculty.
As mentioned above, most students opt for higher education to enhance their professional qualifications. Some do take up internships however can't comment on the viability of this option.
