You can meet and greet every person and i am pretty sure on this that no two people you meet here will have same set of interests or skills. Hence it all depends on you, open yourself up meet and greet people and you will every type of student in this institution. by the way i am also in BVCOE. hope to see you around some day
The course content is somehow difficult as the syllabus is quite complicated and more as compared to other universities. The exams are well structured and if it has a total of 9 questions and in that 1st question is compulsory and out of 8 questions, 1 question from each unit is to be done. Some times this principle is followed but not always.
For internship, there was no special facility provided. No companies came to college looking for interns.Talking about placement first, I think BVCOE can definitely provide someone a good starting job but not that good if compared to DTU or NSIT colleges. Generally, Only one mass recruiter visits for campus placement that is TCS.Most of the companies that visit this college are IT based ones. Most of the CS/IT branch students get placement at the end of placement session. But it is difficult for other branch students to get placements as opportunities are less and they also have to shape themselves according to the requirement of companies.
One of the reasons BVCOE has produced some very awesome leaders and speakers is because of its society culture, which no other college has to such an extent. We have 15 societies (technical, non-technical and entrepreneurial). To name some of the internationally known ones are: ACM, IEEE, Google Developersäó» Group, Microsoft Technical Group, CSI, ISTE, Enactus and many more.
feasible about 1.25 lakh/year Bharati Vidyapeeth is a top-notch college which has been granted Deemed University status by the MHRD Ministry as well as it is accredited with A+ by NAAC in 2018(Only a Few gets this accreditation).Talking more about the same, college is located in a cool and calm environment.
Scholarships are only for girls that too when their family income is below 5 lakh/year and she must have scored at least 90% in her 10th and 12th class.the loan facilities are also available and that is a lengthy process for some students while very simple for the students who scored high grades in their schools.
Infrastructure: Modern infrastructure. Much better than the majority of IPU colleges. The most important thing is We have ACs. Yes, I brag about that because firstly, it's too hot these days Secondly, we pay no extra fees for that (as compared to other private IPU colleges).Metro Connectivity: One of the most convenient things about BVCOE is its awesome location. Deboard at Paschim Vihar (East) Metro Station, the college is 15 steps away from the stationäó»s exit. The library is well maintained and offers a variety of books.
Thereäó»s a very uncommonly (w.r.t other IPU colleges) interesting fact about BVCOE students and that is, people are more motivated about MS/MBA or start-ups, instead of jobs. In my batch of 60, around 20 students are going/preparing-to-go for MS/MBA; around 6 students already have their start-ups (multiple start-ups even).
Class 12 from CBSE with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% provided that the candidate has passed in each subject separatelyEnglish (core/ elective/functional) should be a mandatory subject
Some of the faculty are nice and kind hearten while some are as much as cruel as Hitler or more than him. The nice faculty are always overtaken by the cruel one the marks are only given for good handwriting, not for bad ones. You need to fill as many pages you can in the exams.
Our placements were done with Amity University Noida students as that college being our college's parent organization. All renowned IT companies like Amazon, Capgemini, E&Y, Accenture etc came many lesser fortune companies also visited approx 280 companies visited across all streams. The highest Placement was 12 LPA and the average was 4 LPA. 40% of students got placement as almost 40-45% failed to become eligible due to backlogs. We started undergoing placement in Seventh Semester. I will be working for some time and then look for PSU through GATE.
The best thing about this college is its placements. Since it has a tie-up with Amity university Noida, we get to sit in their placements as well. It is especially heaven for Computer science and IT background students as every day new companies come to recruit the students. Companies like Accenture, Hexaware, TCS, Shell, E&Y, and a lot more are the main recruiters.
From the 7-semester placement, the session is going on and the whole 7 and 8-semester placement session is running. There are many companies visited on our campus like TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, Amazon AWS, Infosys, and many more but in our college, many students take off-campus placement currently one student from Computer Science fourth-year student grab 52 lakh job from Byte Dance (Singapore) Company. Around 75-80% of CSE and IT students were placed from campus placement. I plan to grab a good job from good companies from campus or off-campus.
There are 8 semesters overall. A student becomes eligible after 6 semesters for campus placements. Meanwhile, you can go for internships after sem1 only. About 100 companies visit the college every year. And IITD has a really high placement percentage (~80%).
Placement Experience: The placements here are one the best features of the college. It is the heart of the college, most of the people who come here leave with 2-3 jobs in their hands, and most of them are quite well-paying jobs. The students in the final year are eligible to sit at placements and have to register themselves at OCS (offer of career services), The average placement is about 8-9 lac per annum, even for non-tech jobs. highest ranging up to 30-35 LPA from Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Microsoft. Many students who don’t opt for placements have a lot of chances to go for higher studies, either here or abroad.
Now coming to the placements I have seen 80 percent of students bagging a decent placement of 8lpa or above with the highest package of 40lpa by adobe. The average placement package is 4lpa. With many students getting more than 1 offer I think it is safe to say it is quite decent.
From 7 semester students become eligible for placement and also can do an internship for 2 and 3 years. 170+ companies visited last year in NSUT such as apple, Google, Schlumberger, uber etc. and more than 300+ offers made. And to my knowledge, the highest package is 1.25 crore and the lowest is 4 lacs. 100% of students get placed from tech branches and 85% of students gets placed from core branches. And my dream is to get placement from college with a good salary.
I had to finalize from IIT Bombay or IIT Delhi. Industrial engineering was only available in IIT Rourkee & IIT Delhi. This made my choice clearer and also III Delhi is amongst the best engineering colleges in India & is located in New Delhi- a prime location, as well as e place where there is lot of opportunities for internships & placements.
IIT Delli has the best placements. This was one of the reasons I opted for my engineering at this very institute. Placements starts from 7th sem. More than 500 companies visit the campus. The packages go as high as 1 Cr CTC. In yr 2020 almost 100% students were placed who appeared for placements.
Well it's near my home town. Always heard about the placements, good peer, competitiveness among students. One of the top teir colleges right after the good IITs and NITs. Government colleges generally buy you a lot of time to explore your other interests. A couple of my acquaintances have passed out and thats something that has always made me wanna go there. Apparently they all have been placed really good and I hope the same for myself :)
From what I've seen placements seem to be really good for the computer based branches and a little sore down the aisle All the good companies come to recruit generally placements are good.
