My institute is a very sorted out educational institution. They have a widespread surrounding of beautiful green trees. It provides a sense of calmness among us. The greenery and cleanliness of the campus is well maintained and provides a nurturing environment. Choosing IIM Rohtak was completely my own decision, I have gone through college reviews, websites, and interacted with people on social media. As it was in my hometown, the location was favourable, I did not wait any longer to choose IIM Rohtak.
The faculty members here are very cordial and helpful. The teaching here includes analysis, research and solution. There are upto 23 full time working faculty members. 80% of them have a PhD from India and abroad. The teachers are supportive and their guidance helped us a lot. If I talk about the curriculum here, it has 4 core areas, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics and Humanities. This enables us to understand the socio-economic, political, technological environment of our present societies. We are taught about the success of a managerial career. The teaching methods include seminars, lectures, case analysis, discussions, assignments, project works, presentations, etc. In the second year we could elect electives from marketing, HR, Finance and many more.
Studying here I have never come across somebody who complained about the placements. They have a 100% placement record, with companies like Accenture, Amazon, IGT, IBM, Capgemini, SAR, Vivo, Infosys, Tata Steel, etc. participating in the placement program. They offer students a salary package ranging from 13-24 LPA. More than 80 recruiters participated. Consulting, Sales & Marketing and General Management received the most job offers.
The 2 year fee structure includes 6 lakh for first year and 6 lakh for the second year. A merit scholarship and a sports scholarship is available for deserving candidates. If you have participated in national or international sports tournaments, you might be eligible for the sports scholarship. Also, internships are a part of our curriculum, more than 160 companies took part including KPMG, ICICI, Tata Steel, Amul, E&Y, Deloitte, etc. participated. Sales & Marketing and Consulting are the major sectors that received maximum internships The average stipend offered was upto 2.86 lakh.
We were provided wide and well furnished classrooms, fully air conditioned and with proper audio-visual equipment. Their library consists of thousands of books, magazines and reference materials needed for exams and projects purposes. The facilities provided include sports grounds, canteens, busses for ease of transportation, etc. Infusion is our major fest. From Academic to cultural to sports, all of these fests are organized. Management Fest and Udaan an Entrepreneurship Summit is also held in the campus.
The hostel here is well maintained and subtle. The rooms are well furnished with proper sports facilities, medical facilities, wifi and 24 hour security. A fully air conditioned library attracts us during the summer season. It becomes the best escape from the scorching heat. The academic block has become one of our hangout spots. In the evening random and casual jamming sessions with musicians and singers also take place in that same spot. Not only us but sometimes some faculty members also join the fun filled sessions.
For GD, my topic was äóìLeader vs. Followeräó we then had to elaborate on the topic and justify the statement. My interview was mainly focused on current affairs in Business, Economics and Finance, how innovation is different from invention, etc. The written test mainly consisted of aptitude tests, logical reasoning, general knowledge, etc. To prepare for these exams, I used to solve previous year question papers, this helped me to get accustomed with the pattern of the questions. Reading newspapers and being informed of all the recent happenings in the world is absolutely necessary. As most of the questions involved discussing current trends in business, finance and economics. Solving mock exam papers also helped me with the preparation. Finally it led to my CAT score landing on 95%.
Placements at SAITM are great and there are very reputed companies that come to provide placements to the students. Reputed companies like HCL, INFOSYS, AMAZON, FLIPKART, TCS etc. have been past recruiters of Saitm. Infat at SAITM, we have a separate placement cell that handles all the matters related to the training and placement of students.
They provide many placement usually every year 30 % student get placement hight package for placement is5 lakh approx My plan after the degree is I will work for 2 years and then I will do MBA in hr if college give me placement then well nad good otherwise I will find outside
I plan on doing an MBA degree after finishing my law program. JGU is constantly improving its placements. A large number of JGU students opt to do a master's degree after the degree at JGU too. JGU has one of the hugest batch sizes in any law school, hence getting placements are extremely competitive.
The placement for the IT sector is good. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. Many students apply for off-campus placement too and acquire good packages. Students from other branches are some times eligible for some placement. The highest package they offer is around 10-12 LPA and the lowest is around 2.5 LPA. Many of the students apply for off-campus placements to grab better opportunities. Our campus also prepares or provides facility to the students for their placements. Around 40 to 50 of total students get their placements on-campus. I plan to forgo higher studies to gain more knowledge.
