I applied to NMIMS Mumbai, IMT Ghaziabad, IIFT, and XLRI. I could not clear the cutoff for IIFT and XLRI and joined NMIMS because I preferred Mumbai. I did not avail any quota for any college. There were no minimum marks and age criteria as I recall. The most important thing for NMAT preparation is practice. Speed of solving the questions and presence of mind to leave the hard questions is key. Once the cutoff is cleared, you need to prepare for CDPI. Case discussion covers a wide range of topics, so be up-to-date on current affairs related to business, technology, foreign affairs, etc.
I am pursuing general management as a specialization in my second year. In the first year, a wide range of subjects is covered from marketing, finance, operations, communication, analytics, economics, and human resources. The faculties are experts in their fields and they will help in gaining a conceptual clarity that is required for summer placements as well.

Placement is the main reason everybody pursues MBA, same is the reason with me. Placements of our are very good. The average package of my seniors was 10.7 LPA. All the students get equal opportunity to get placed rest is up to the student to find a good job role and a good pkg from a company. Once you got selected in any company you can't apply for others through campus, students can look for companies on their own. Located in the financial capital of India the college is info sizing and providing more assistant for finance and marketing domain placements. Due to this somewhere it is is doing some injustice other trades.

In our college, the placement record is very good. Renowned companies visit the college to hire students. And every year it is increasing. For an HR the average package is around 8.5 lpa. The placement cell helped their best to get placed each and every student. After summer internships students are eligible for placement.
The college is excellent given the amenities, fee structure and the placement history taken into consideration. The exam structure, distribution of marks and the faculty is also praise worthy. Internship oppurtunities was however limited and hence of the area the college needs to work on. Overall a quite satifying and memorable experience for the 2 years spent and making my money's worth.
