Overall, college is best in India this is the college which every engineering students aspire for some facilities provided are not so good, management can be improved much. For a single work, we have do lot of work to get it completed like in government offices.
JEE ADVANCED my rank was 4577 i opted this college because I have haired about its position in global rankings and its scope for BIOTECHNOLOGY department.
As you know, this department is research oriented, people prefer for higher studies,so,placement in biotechnology department is not too good as many students pursue for higher studies and rest of them go for non core things like coding, data analytics.
Faculty of IIT Kharagpur is best in whole India. You will nevEr get such facility and teaching staff in whole India.Yeah, there is some restrictions but that doesn't matters much. Professors will always motivate you and give you lot of chance so that you can do better. Labs here are quite good plus there is lot of research going on, so you have lot of scope in research also.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Course curriculum of Biotech is very good. it starts with basic biology like microbiology, cell biology and biochemistry. We also have some syllabus of maths like differential calculus , probability and statistics. Overall, curriculum is quite good and interesting. Scope of biotechnology in Research field is too much. People who are interested in this branch can do lot good.
Since, I am in first year, so I haven't have any experience of internship till now. But, my seniors who are doing projects with professors told us that professors are very cooperative but some of them are very strict. They assign you certain works and you will have to do that work very properly and on time. They don't like delays.
