I took IIT-JEE and got AIR 284 and so IITD (Electrical engineering ) was the best option for me. I was also getting computer science in Kharagpur but Delhi is where most of my relatives live so I chose Delhi.
There are a list of courses , I.I.T. Delhi provides science-based engineering education with a view to produce quality engineer-scientists. The curriculum provides broad based knowledge and simultaneously builds a temper for the life long process of learning and exploring.
In IITD you have to complete 5 design credits to get your degree and an internship gives you two credit so students here do two internships .Our College have a T&P cell that call all the companies for training and of the stipend every company gives a stipend of more than 25000 per month.
It’s one of the best technological institutes in the country, of course it’s bound to have fantastic placements! Some of the top companies in the world visit IITD, and offer higher salaries than most other engineers across India can only dream of. The average salary is about Rs.12 lac, and the highest salary offered could even be seven times that, which is just frankly bonkers if you ask us.
IIT Delhi hosts its cultural festival 'Rendezvous' in October and its technical fest 'Tryst' in March. Both the fests are conducted on a pretty huge scale, and attract participation from across the country. There are active robotics, economics, astronomy and entrepreneurial development club.
It's Rs 56635 per year for General and OBC students and Rs 8000 for SC/ST students.
Institute Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarships. The Institute offers Merit-cum-Means scholarships to under-graduate students in engineering and technology. These are permissible to about 25% of students. The present value of Merit-cum-Means scholarship is Rs. 300 per month for general students and the recipient is exempted from paying tuition fee.
There are 13 hostels, each accommodating about 400 students. There isn't any hostel curfew in any of the hostels but opposite sex isn't allowed beyond visitors room at any time of the day. There Each hostel has its own mess, most of them stay open 24 hours. And there are some joints like Amul and Lipton in institute area which too remain open at night.
Exams are okay, it depends mostly on the professor and course. Most of the students here start reading about the exam 2-3 days before exam and manage to do well in exam. There are mainly 3 exams for a course in a semester and that's good because if you mess one or even two of them you can do better on others.
Once you crack IIT-JEE it's all simple after that. First you decide which college and course to take and then if you get IITD there is a few days admission process. There you will have to pay the fee and fill some forms and you will be given your hostel and your i-cards, medical book etc.
Students are eligible from the third year for internships and placements. At my time the highest package was 38 lakhs and the average was 7 lakhs. The CGPA of students getting placements was above 8. Companies like Wipro, Infosys and Maruti came at that time. I think the overall budget was approx 1.5 crores. Most of the seniors are placed with a decent package. I planned to do the job for atleast three to four years and then start a business on my own.

ADGITM has a good syllabus, and they provide training around the 2nd year too. Which makes it an advantage for the students to apply for various Internships and get the knowledge of industrial work easily. Students become eligible in 4th year for campus placement. Last year, 4 students got a package of 33LPA from Amazon. The average package was around 8LPA. Many students were recruited from Infosys, Samsung, Airtel and many high-level companies. I'll be looking for a job in my final year, and continue my career in a well-reputed company.
This is a very decent and one of the best college among the IPU. It's a reputed college with nice placement record. They provided us with the proper equipped and functional Labs. Apart from all these, the few things that bothers a little are, the playing time is just from 4pm to 7pm. There shouldn't be any restrictions over playing time. College also put more stress over the attendance compared to other colleges. But overall, it is a very decent college of New Delhi.
The placement record Is decent here. If you are in Computer Science or IT, then that's great for you. But if you are in ECE or EEE, and want placement in a core companies then that's very difficult. I guess only 1 or 2 core companies arrives the campus. But if you want a job in IT company, then you can get it. The average package is of around 4lpa. The highest package is of around 8-9lpa. The companies that visits the campus are namely, TCS, ZS, EY, thoughtworks, NIIT, Nagarro, Adobe(for girls only), Airtel, vinsol, etc
I chose this college because I have got 10k rank in IP entrance exam. During the admission process there were three rounds and seats get filled on the basis of ranks. After the three rounds there was a spot round in which the remaining seats of the college get filled based on the rank criteria. During my time I had two options to choose from NIEC CSE and ECE BPIT and i chose ECE because I preferred college location because I Had recieved some negative reviews of NIEC from my friend so I decided to join BPIT. Admissions took place in june or july of that year.
No I did not face any group discussion, interview but I had to score good percentile i.e rank in the IP entrance exam. The test had some questions related to physics, chemistry and mathematics. It also had some questions of english grammar and basic english questions. I prepared for these rounds by giving mock tests online and studying and focusing more on quantative analysis i.e mathematics because questions in this section are very tricky and time consuming. I also learnt some shortcut tricks to solve these questions from youtube channels.
The fee of our college is affordable for middle class family. Also it is a government college. The placement is also quite good. Faculty of GBPEC is also very good. They are well qualified and supportive. But the campus and infrastructure is not good at all.
No, there is no interview or GD for taking admission in GBPEC. Only good JEE marks and 70äóÁ marks in 12th in PCM is enough . First you have to fill the ggsipj forms then online counselling will happen for btech course then document verification and your admission is final.
Dtu is one of the best college for Delhiites who did not qualify JEE ADVANCED. The exposure that it provides to its students is really great. Even students out of Delhi & OUT OF INDIA choose Dtu. The pleasing factor of Dtu is that it also emphasises on its core branches and even have specialised labs for sectors like electrical & mechanical. And the placements records are also very satisfying. There is no bad aspect of Dtu, however online classes have made it difficult to study for students.JEE MAINS :23-26 February 2021(from this year 4 times a year)PMSSS: for J&K & Ladakh students (application date JULY 1,2021)
One can get internship even in 3rd semester, however most of the students get placed till 8 semester. There are different companies offering jobs in different sectors. For ECE, top recruiting companies are Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Samsung, etc. Last year stats for highest domestic salary is 39 lakhs and average salary is 10 lakhs. I am gonna do MBA after my B TECH.
The admission was through an entrance test conducted by the college itself. However the college also takes in students through their NIFT scores . I got admitted into this college through my NIFT score.
At least for the technology department there has been a 100%placement . Though the salary can vary depending on the company. Also it depends on the demand that particular year. It varies from 3 lpa-12 lpa. Some companies from outside India also come for placements.
