I appeared for an all India examination CAT. this examination was held in the month of November. i scored a percentile of 86. i took admission in this college because of its renowned name and well known faculty.
as i was from Delhi, i wanted a spacious men’s hostel . but, the hostel facility is in the college itself. it is located in the extension campus of XIME, which is located diagonally opposite the main campus. the hostel provided me with many facilities like Well-lit, spacious rooms, Attached washrooms, All basic amenities including,24-hour hot water,Internet facility (Wi-Fi enabled) and A common room with indoor games like Tennis Court. the college also provided me with the Facilities for games and gymnasium.
As a part of the curriculum each student of my batch at XIME is to do an Internship for 3 weeks in the recess between Term 2 and Term 3. This internship is usually in the beginning of January each year. This 3-week project – called Socially Useful & Productive Activity (SUPA) – is carried by students with an NGO. The idea is to expose the future managers to the management of the voluntary sector and sensitize them to the special needs of this sector. The students apply their managerial skills and improve the efficiency / effectiveness of the organizations they are attached to. The SUPA project carries a credit of 2.
