I cracked GATE examination and got 67.39 marks out of 100 and got admission at IIT DELHI for M.Tech. I opt this because I want to go for higher studies and further research works.

The course curriculum is fully research based and teachers are very keen towards their work to give us a lot of new ideas which helps in our study and research.

The placements is overall very good here. A wide range of companies including mnc's come here to hire engineers with a high package range of 8 lakhs to 15 lakhs. like Mercedes, Tata motors etc.

IIT Delhi, my alma meter is one of the best and prestigious Engineering institutes. It has got the tag of Institute of Eminence (IOE) by the Government of India. It provides a congenial atmosphere for research and innovation. The faculties are quite knowledgeable and helpful. They guide the students to the best of their abilities. I am proud of my alma meter.

Placement facility is great which is provided by the university so many reputed companies takes place like:- Arvind, Shakti, Confederation Of Indian Industry, Cvent, GE Energy, HCL Foundation, Infosys, KPMG, Louis Berger, PNGRB, Schneider Electric, Shakti, TATA Power, TATA Consultancy Services, UNDP, HCL Technologies, Idam, IL&FS, IMRB, Larsen & Toubro, Panacea Biotec etc.

I have done part time m.tech from DTU. For this they conduct separate exam, interview and B.tech percentage. One must have one year of industrial and teaching experience to apply for the same. DTU is one of the most reputed university in Delhi.

Top companies like google, amazon, renowned MNC come for college placements. They offer a good package starting from 8.0 lac - 60 lac per annum. Nearly all students get placed. But part time students are not allowed to participate in placements as they are already placed.
