Entrance Preview :

Actually no entrance exam is required for the said course. This course is specially designed for CA students. CA students who have cleared CPT and IPCC can get a bachelor's degree through this progam.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It allows us to pick our subjects. 3 compulsory subjects were related to language, then comes business studies, and science. Students can choose from the options given.

Internships Opportunities :

No internships are required, as said it is for CA students, they can easily enrol with a CA firm and complete their articleship. 3 years of articleship is not an eligibility criteria for getting degree, however CA students must note if they enrol for CA articleship and B.Com AF from IGNOU. They cannot enrol for any other progam, not even CS, Cost accountancy etc.

Placement Experience :

No placement programme is conducted by the university. Candidates are required to themself apply for jobs. Although CA won't face difficulty in finding jobs.

College Events :

As such no events are celebrated. Once a person clears the exam and compulsory internal assessment projects, a convocation is held, presence is optional. A form needs to be submitted confirming presence or to get degree delivered at home.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Not an expensive course. Initial Registration costs around Rs. 5400. Examination fees and convocation fees together will not exceed Rs. 1500. It's a distance learning university.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No such scholarships or loans are available. Fees won't even exceed Rs. 10000 and no hence no such arrangements are required.

Campus Life :

Classes are conducted for other programmes, but not for B.Com AF. So, can't say anything about that. Although people are good there, and help with anything you ask them, however please go in office timings and not when they are about to be closed.

Alumni/Alumna :

No alumni network available with the university. I wish there would, but there isn't. There's some link on their website, but frankly, I haven't tried it yet. Anyways, CA students get to meet new people every now and then.

Exam Structure :

Total 7 exams are held. Also project needs to be submitted without which they let you sit in exams. Marks of IPCC and CPT are also added to the marksheet to calculate the final percentage.

Faculty :

It's a distance learning programme. Books are provided by university. Students are expected to study and appear for the exams. Also compulsory projects need to be submitted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to take decision of choosing this course that from when I was small so I want to be a business man so after 10 I choose commerce so I can start my business courier and and after 12 so I choose this b com course and start my course by choosing this course so the curriculum prepares you for real world applications or future academic pursuits for my future I helps me a lot because at this time by choosing this course I learn a lot about the business and other thing. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching method first of all the system of teaching should be changed because they all are tell like theorycal study they did not provide the practice so they have to do work in this field. The timing of exam should be more than 3.5 hours because the time given is 3 hours but half to the time wasted for to reading the question and students did. Not do the full questions in the exam so they have to give more time for

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester, the students become eligible to sit for placements. Many companies visit the campus each year to offer placements and internships. The avg package is around 3 lakhs, and the highest around 8 lpa. The profiles offered are usually of business development, sales and marketing. Finance roles are not much. I guess all the students who sit for placement gets placed. My plans after graduation is to appear for another competitive exams for my post grad.

Placement Experience:

The courses like b.com honours, eco honours, and stats honours are the courses which get the top notch placements. Other courses get placements too but not that much high. The highest package of Hindu College in 2023 is 36.5 lakhs per annum. The average package of the Hindu College in 2023 is 10 to 11 lakhs per annum. Top recruiters like Accenture, HCL, KPMG visits the campus and made offers to students. The placement percentage of our college is very good.
