BVCOE one of the best college in GGSIPU. It gives everything that is required by any engineering student
ENTRANCE PREVIEW
The admission in ggsipu is based on common entrance test for ipu. I opted to take admission in lateral entry in B.Tech ECE. My score was 274 and I got selected for Bharati vidyapeeth college of engineering, New Delhi which is affiliated by ggsipu.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
College fee is feasible. My fee was 90000inr but next year the fee was increased to INR 1,40,000. But still, it is feasible. The college is fully air conditioned and provides all required facilities. No extra money is charged for services everything is included in fee.
PLACEMENT WING
In BVCOE, the placement is good, 80% of eligible students got placed. Although average package is just 4 lacs. Companies like EY, PAYTM, ZS, TCS, etc. were among visiting companies. The placement here is better than most of the colleges in ggsipu.
ADMISSION
The admission is based on entrance test and admission is done after a proper counselling process. The online counselling process consists of various rounds in which candidates are given college on basis of there rank among the choices they have given for counselling process. Then candidates are required to go to given centres for document verification after filling university fee.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
BVCOE have hostel facilities only for girls. I didn't opted for hostel since I lived in Delhi. But my friends in hostel told that hostel was fully air conditioned. Everything is good in hostel. Food, security, rooms are also good. Hostel is clean and tidy. I would rate the facility as 7/10.
ALUMNI
College have a nice alumni network. Seniors in college are helpful and always ready to give good advices and are supportive.
FACULTY
Faculty of college was good. Experienced, focused, dedicated and helping faculty. Teachers are the plus point of college. They are always ready to help and solve student's issues. But the administration staff are mannerless, arrogant and nagging. They don't think about the problem faced by students. The cleanliness and infrastructure are good.
CAMPUS LIFE
College provides a very classy crowd. There is an equal number of girls as boys in college. There are many canteens and shops in the campus. NSS society gives the opportunity to participate in several government programs. Events are fun and innovative. The college has big ground and sports facility.
EXAM STRUCTURE
College follows 75% attendance rule. But gives a little relief in case of genuine problems. The exams are chilled, there is no tension or pressure for exams. A full day in college leaves you tired but anyway thats not an issue. Moreover college life is good. Labs are fully equipped and lab assistant are helpful.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The course is of primitive nature. There is less focus on innovation, research, and development. The curriculum is revised regularly but it's not that useful. But it is better as compared to other state board curriculum. There is more focus on theoretical knowledge as compared to practicals. Although there are proper facilities for practicals but with lack of dedication.
INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES
College does not provide internship to students although internship is mandatory part of curriculum.
COLLEGE EVENTS
Events is the integral part of college. There are various college societies and they organize various events for there advertisement. Various events are Xtasy, Evolution, NSS events, IEEE fest etc. There is good foot fall during fests. Annual college fest is good too. Moreover ipu fest Anoogonj is good too.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
I don't have any idea on this since my family sponsored my education. But Delhi government provide scholarship and loan for eligible students.
