If you are qualified GATE exam then it is good otherwise you have to write entrance exam will conduct by SASTRA then they will see your UG marks depeneding on these the admission will happens.

College gave good facilities, good knowledge, and many opportunities, we not had internship at that time,so this is improved now,at that time In hostel they were not provide non veg, We use department wise separate building, labs were good and equipment's were in good condition

No such entrance exam I have written after my bachelor degree ,based on my percentage I got seat in this top college,there was small interview where some basic questions they have asked,They were only 25 seats for first highest percentage,As I have done my be with the courses like electronics,and I was interested in electronics ,which made me to choose power electronics in Mtech.

Remarks -

No bad remarks.the college is good and i wish more students to avail their higher studies in VIT. The campus life will be good and future will be good. They get placement in good companies. All the conditions in the college are good and well maintained.

I didn't have any entrance examination.According to HSC mark, they took admission. So,i wished to join there and my native is vellore. As i want to join in good company and make my life good i wished to join there.

Superb and excellent support from the college seniors and alumni and the staffs working in our college if students have any doubt they can easily refer them and can get their doubt clarified and getting more knowledge in their difficult portions in any subject.

I like the college infrastructure. College facilities. Functions and so on. All are very friendly and helpful enough. GooD institute I felt there when I completed my course last year. Placements should take serious for post graduate students.

The university is like a small city inside the four walls. It has everything one needs from banks, to shops, to restaurants, library, park to keep you happy. the hostels are really good, the city vellore is clean and is also managed by the university. the bus and commution is best. Train station is right outside the college.

I finished my bachelors in Pharmacy from Chennai and was ready to give my IIT-GATE exam in 2002 and got through a 96.34 percentile and applied to various colleges offering masters degree with pharmacy using IIT-GATE exams. It's good , everything will have a positive and negative but here compared to negative's positive things are more. A quite awesome place to leave but people from other places can't bear for heat as we have more humidity but according to the education wise it's awesome.

Entrance Preview -

I cleared GATE in the year 2009 with a percentile of 87.5. I had always wanted to study Biotechnology and Anna University is the forerunner in Tamil Nadu. The admission process was pretty easy involving single window counselling. They publish a rank list based on our marks and seats are allocated accordingly. TANCET and JNU exams are also eligible for admission.

Placement -

Core companies for Biotechnology did not come for placements. However IT companies like CTS, TCS, Wipro, IBM, Accenture which had some projects in life sciences did come for placements. The average initial salary back then was Rs. 18000-20000 pm.
