    REMARKS

One of the best remarks of studying in SJCC for a ACCA aspiring students is that we get six papers of exemption. And SJCC also provides lots of platform for developing the talents of studnets. The bad remark I have felt is the infrastructure is not so good more development can be made in the development of infrastructure.

  • ENTRANCE PREVIEW

There is only one entrance exam and that is also based on accounting. I don't know how much I scored because they did not say the mark. They invited me for the interview. And that was how I got into. The mark was not separately said

    PLACEMENT WING

Our college is one of the best in placements with lots of big and large MNC's come for recruitment and that too with high salary packages. Students performance in the interview is which matters the most. Last year around 80% of the students got placed and that too with very mu h high salary.

  • ADMISSION

I had applied online in the site buy submitting my marks card. Then they mailed buy telling that I was selected for the entrance exam. I wrote entrnace exam which was based on accounts. Later after few days the students who where qualified for called for an interview. Then I attended the interview and after 3 days the students who where selected in the interview where called for admissions.

    HOSTEL FACILITIES

There is no hostel facility for the college. In Bangalore, none of the colleges have boys hostels. But near the college, there are a lot of hostiles and PGs. The hostels near buy are spaces and facilities like food, hot water, WiFi and cleaning facilities. But the problem is there are only a few seats for hostels and its on the basis of first come first serve. And those who dont get hostel can get accommodated in PGs which are also good.

  • ALUMNI

The seniors and juniors do not have any distance between them they are equal. Rahul Dravid the former captain of Indian team is alumni of St Josephs and many more legends have been nurtured and taught in SJCC.

    FACULTY

The faculty of the college is very much experienced and best at their profession. For our course, the teachers have very well known of their subject because they teach in a way that it would be helpful for ACCA. At semester leaves ACCA qualified teachers come for giving coaching on ACCA and that to from different parts of India.

    CAMPUS LIFE

The students of SJCC taught to be socially very much concerned. According to me there has never been any discrimination based on caste and gender. The gender ratio is equal makes are not more than females, all are equal. There are no parties or anything like that but there are lots of cultural societies.

  • EXAM STRUCTURE

The exam structure for b.com is semester basis. Bcom consist of six semesters. Each year is divided into two semesters. Before one month prior to exams, there would be a revision for two weeks and also two weeks of study leave. The exam time would never be so hectic because portions would be very taught and made to study.

    COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

I have opted for Bcom AND has integrated ACCA. Buy studying in josephs we get around 6 papers of exemption which is not available anywhere else. The Bcom course is also flexible for ACCA Which is very helpful for students.

    INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES

Yes, our college provides internships and its compulsory for all the second year students to due internship while their semester leaves. There is also a special cell in the college which help students get internships. The stipend varies from which company they work.

    COLLEGE EVENTS

There are lots of events being conducted in college. Every religious and cultural fest there are lots of clubs in college which host cultural events. Kaltosavam would held class-wide and business fest also would be held interclass interdepartmental and intercollege wise. Sports competitions would also be held.

  • LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS

I have not availed any scholarship but I have heard that there are scholarships for the students who are got at academics and also students who have achieved prizes for college and also represented the nation and university. There are also scholarships for the Catholic students on the basis of certain criteria.
