I opted for this college because my previous college (Holy Cross College) was very strict with so many rules and regulations and were also stingy in giving marks. I heard that this college is very lenient and the students are allowed to use mobile phones inside the college premises too.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
More than feasible. As the lectures pass the students who fail in their exams, students have to pay more than the aforementioned fees. But the college is very generous-minded. Students have to worship the lecturers for their generosity. Nowhere I have met such stupid lecturers. I don't have to lie because the marksheets of the students are proof.
Very few companies came to the college . I attended one interview which was conducted in a computer lab. Questions from Numerical aptitude, logical reasoning, English grammar, comprehension skills were all asked. They never told the results I guess. I wasn't informed.
I got admission in this college without any effot. It was a piece of cake for me. I scored below 65% in B.com and they gave me a seat. Even my friend who scored below 60% got a seat in this college. I know so many students who scored below 65%. They gave us all seats. More than 60 students were selected for the course. During the final year only they divided the class according to roll names.
My friend was a hostel student. She said the food and water are good. No complaints but the rooms were small and she had Problem with the roommates as it happens with all the college hostels. Nothing to blame about the hosel authorities. They were friendly it seems.
It can't be any worse than this. The seniors didn't act like seniors. One of the seniors was trying to propose to my friend. One day he gifted her bangles. She felt very awkward. I told her to tell her parents and she did. But this doesn't stop him. He joined M.Phil in the same college after finishing his course. No need to tell the college is money minded and accepts any student.
It was the worst of the worst. In many papers, so many students failed. In the International business environment, more than 35 students failed. The lecturers were afraid of the higher authorities, so they passed all the students. May be one or two they didn't spare. Just compare the marks of my B.Com and M.com, you would know the criminal minds of the lecturers.
Campus life is more than extraordinary for all the students. The college was an entertainment for us. Once I used Facebook from my college lab next to my class. We can also use mobile phones even when the lecturers are teaching.
As I told earlier, passing the subjects is not rocket science. The lecturers passed the students who have failed in the exams. All my marksheet and my friend's mark sheet are proof. In the first year, the lecturers were criminal minded. As I quit the college in final year I don't know whether the lecturers changed or not. The fake marks and the real marks can be seen very well in our answer papers. I scored below 65% in B.com while I scored above 70% in M.com without studying.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
It was okay. The subjects had more weightage but there was no right qualified lecturers to make all the students understand the subject. Students who scored below 65% in B.com appear for exams and the lecturers are downright lazy for teaching. But the best part, they gave us marks generously.
Not that I have heard of. Maybe today they provide. I am not sure. I currently live in Chennai so I don't know the state of the college today.
Sports, seminars, consumer goods exhibition. I know these three things only. Consumer goods exhibition were a hit among the students. Saress, churidhars, watches, studs, earrings, night pants, etc were sold. Three times they came when I was doing my first year.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
I have not heard of it. May be to BC/MBC, SC/ST they give I guess. It is just an assumtpion. I am not exactly sure.
