Curriculum is usually well structured...and good balance between theory and practical

Dislikes

Infrastructure: the building and the facilities are not good
Placement cell is quite low ...but success in placement also depends on your skills and education
Hostel and college is too far ... students faces many problems for this in transportation

From 5th year you are eligible for the campus placements And for internship u r eligible in 4 th year I don't know companies visited in this college as I m in 1st year now Highest and avg package depends upon the courses ...such as planning course get more package then architecture

Tution fee increase policy at spa may vary but it's common for institutions to revise fees periodically The complete cost of the education including tution fees and other compulsory charges is 3 lac per year Spa may provide employment opportunities depending upon the nature of work

Name of the annual fest is utopia and it was such a great fest Facilities within the classroom is not good as ac are not available in all the studios Extra curricular activities are good as u have lot of exposure in this college also u get lot of opportunities in all the fields from here

Hostel is average Hostels room are in working condition also the facilities are good not much good Mess ar menu is quite offensive...that we have lot of health issues facing after eating the mess food Registration for hostel and mess is in the college it was an easy process although they help u in this Location of this is ITO girls hostel new Delhi

Admission

Eligibility for this course depending upon the courses ....it generally takes admission through jee mains paper 2 Cut off for this is too high as you have to score more than 99 percentile Admission process is quite easy Reservation benefits u get in this college also.

Likes

girls to boys ratio in every year is nearly 50-50. A 50-50 gender ratio creates balance, inclusivity, and fairness.
professors are very friendly, and always helps in the projects personally.
all the faculty of well qualified in there respective fields.

Dislikes

the building's infrastructure can be improved
there is no air condition in the class rooms
the department closes at 5:30pm, students can't work there after 5:30pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum focuses on real world design problems, critical thinking and other software skills that are going to be useful in the professional field. but in this era of artificial intelligence, there is no academic upskilling with AI right now. professors are working on incorporating AI with the curriculum and it will soon be incorporated.

College life of a first year

Likes

The enviornment around the whole campus is built in a very nature friendly way. students can interact with various activities around the campus.
The Campus itself is built in a ver modern way, which helps students to imagine in a creative way.
As it is the main campus for the course of Architecture. alot of events are organised inside the campus which helps the students to interact with there seniors.

Dislikes

The notices having important information are often sanctioned late.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the forst year the faculty will make you do completely dumb and irrelevant stuff which is mostly not related to the real life. You will surely feel like and think in a way that why you are doing all this, but slowly the curriculum will get difficult and would have real world applications. In the starting you should improve your drafting and most importantly you should procastinate your work and should learn the importance of time management.

The infrastructure of the university and the campus.

The faculty is very experienced and thorough with the curriculum. The teaching methods are very good. The exams are conducted annually with sessional tests in between. Since architecture is not so easy course, it comes with its challenges but the student can tackle them with the help of faculty.

There are various reasons for which I choosed architecture as a course and the most important is it makes us explore our imagination and creativity and adds technical knowledge to support our creativity to bring it in real life. I chose the course because of my passion for buildings, the faculty is very dedicated and teacehrs put in alot of hard work with the students. The gender ratio is impressively 1:1. The professors are from good colleges themselves and the teaching methodology is that of an experienced person in the feild. Exams take place annually, semester marking is done on the basis of internal assisment.

Because I wanted to do something creative mixed with technology I chose architecture. The faculty-student ratio was perfect and the faculty taught really well. The teaching method in architecture is more than textbooks. It's much more practical.

I was preparing for architecture and had made it to reputed colleges like CEPT, NITs, JMI, and CET. Paralley i got B.Plan at SPA too. Out of curiosity, i had went through the syllabus and it captivated me more than what i was preparing for. Fore getting into SPA, you'll have to give JEE-II which will be conducted alongside JEE. SPA DELHI REVIEW

Overall, there are lots of negative remarks on SPA DELHI. They do not even provide basic facilities for the fees they take. Even what little facilities that exists are very poorly maintained. The lifts does not work more often than not, the coolers for drinking water are outdated and filters unchanged, fire extinguishers outdated, poor parking facilities, no grounds for sports related activities, no air conditioners in the classroom for the unbearable Delhi heat, very poor provision of funds, non-existent placement cells, and the lists goes on....Read More
