KoThe course name is bachelor of optometry this is total four year of course which includes years of classes and one year of internship. This is fully professional course after completing this you will become an optometrist from which you can do practice or you can open your own clinic. In this optoms treat and diagnosis of all ocular problems by providing some medications and precautions and prevention to the patient. They can the patient ocular health and vision by doing refraction on patient. They can also do practice with ophthalmologist and can also assist the surgery in OT but they cannot perform surgery on patient. The worst thing there is no govt jobs for optometrist but there is broad range of field in private sectors like in clinical practice and optical practice. Around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum salery of freshers optoms after completing there bachelors There is best opportunities in gulf countries the salary is around 10 to 12 lakhs per annum.

There is internship provide by the college in the multi-speciality govt. And there is some extra thing apart from practising there is allocation of class in which you have teach your juniors. hospital you can do the internship outside in private sectors like in private hospitals There is no stipend available in the govt. The scholarship amount varies categories to categories minimum around 24500 rupees There is campus placement from lenskart and another companies The while fees around 80k 90k of all 4 years. The food quality is very poor you have to arrange your own food system by join outside tiffin box service the monthly mess charge around 2500. Eligibility of this course is you have cleared your intermediate then you are eligible to fill up the form known as CPET (combined paramedical entrance test)it is conducted by abvmu (atal bihari vajpayee medical University) Cpet exam conducted in the month of june every year it has 200 questions if you want to admission in govt college then you have to gain around 140 to 150 marks by which there is rank on all over up. The entrance test level is not much high you can crack this exam in one month preparation There is reservation for the sc st and obc category

They are very knowledgeable but they didn't take proper classes they This course study about eye related problems we can give vision to the patient and can diagnose the ocular diseases and give them some primary medications it means they can treat everyone ocular problems but cannot perform surgery on a patient it would be done by the ophthalmologist the best part of this is that we can also assist the ophthalmologist during surgery.after this course we ca persue our fiture to the optical or clinical its on up to you.
