MBA FROM DELHI UNIVERSITY AT LESS THAN RS 2 LAKHS OVERALL AND BEST ROI.
Being a Government Institution, it has it own set of pros and cons. However, over the years, the system has evolved much to establish a parrallel student driven system (well supported by management and reporting to management) that has helped overcome all hurdles.
CAT. I had already worked for 3 years at WIPRO Ltd. Had got around 92 percentile in CAT. Though I had got through to many other TIER A B-Schools, yet I did not want to go for education loan and spent more than 10 lakhs for a two years course. An MBA From Delhi University that too in North Campus (DELHI SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS) with one of the best ROI (Return on Investment) helped me decide to go with this college. I never regretted my decision since then. I completed my MBA including all costs with Rs 1.50 lakhs. Got placement in a PSU with CTC of around Rs 10 lpa. Got a lot of scope and opportunity to learn, grow and cherish the overall experience. CAT Scores were used for shortlisting. Followed by GD and PI and then final induction.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
Very FEASIBLE fee is Less than 80 K for two years including student fund (Not actually part of fee but required for various student driven activities, cells, committees, events, etc)
The exact statistics is difficult to provide as I am an Alumnus now. However, during my time, 80-90% placement was the norm with average approximately about 7 lpa and Highest around 10 lpa (excluding International placement).
DU HOSTEL AND FOOD is among the best and very much affordable. However, only 10% of the people will get Hostel as HOSTEL is UNIVERSITY Based and seats are allotted in Hostels based on Merit and Need.
There is a dedicated Alum Team in the college which remain connected with the Alumnis. Annual Grand Alum Dinner is held every year along with Alum chapters that are held in different cities for Alum-student get together and interaction. A good network of well established Alumni and yes, they do help in their own way from time to time. They take out time to come and take workshop, Guest Lectures and Placement leads.
80% of the Faculties are extremely dedicated with what they teach and quite interested in their subject.
Gender Ratio is almost 60:40 (60 percent males and 40 % Females) Fresher Party (Held at campus as well as outside), Farewell Party(Held at campus ) Various Workshops Quite diverse crowd with foreign student quota as well As it is in University System, every mechanism and tool is in place for overall inclusiveness governed by DU rules.
Semester Based as far as being hectic or chilled out is considered, it is a non-residential course and involves protectiveness from students. All types of scope and opportunity is there. It depends on the individual if they want to grow and stay busy or relax and chill out.
