    COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

When it comes to education JNU is considered a dream, a project, a fantastic experiment-a public university reconciling excellence and equality in a sociopolitical aware environment. the course structure for the various programs in UG, PG, MPhil, Ph.D. demands extensive reading, analysis, and writing work. the general course work across all programs includes mid-semester exams, weekly paper writing, paper presentations, tutorials( Group discussions-based on oxford university study pattern), participation in weekly seminars and conferences. the course work in MPhil-PhD is of one year followed by individual research work. a distinct feature of JNU is interdisciplinary studies.at masters level, students are given an open chance to choose one course outside their departments every semester for a holistic approach. academic evaluation is done by mid-semester exam(25%), term paper submissions(25%) and end semester exam(50%). this is the general pattern which may defer according to departments. the course work is structured in a way that it provides creative space conducive for critical thinking, emancipatory ideas, and alternative learning.

ONE OF THE BEST COLLEGES IN INDIA

Remarks -

Overall Hindu College excels in each and every aspect, including teaching and non-teaching staff. The admin section is also very helpful and efficient. It is a wonderful space to spend the prime education years. If there has to be a negative remark, it is the washroom and toilet facilities. It is not well managed at all, especially the women's washrooms.

Remarks -

University on its level is very good & also very famous & its deg is valid throughout India Its regional centers are very slow workers & it needs to be revamped.

Entrance Preview -

No entrance exam required. I had to do side wise preparations, so i opted for M.A in English from IGNOU. No interview process was there. Only I had to fill the form at the regional center & submit it. As I had done B.A in Eng, so i opted for M.A course in Eng which can help me in cracking CBSE NET exam.

Remarks -

The campus is very beautiful, has all the necessities for the students but the college management could be better.

I appeared for Common Entrance Test (CET) and cleared it with 28 rank. I opted for this college because there was no other college of IP University offered the same course. I also appeared for entrance exams to get admission in IIMC and Jamia Milia Islamia but didn't clear them so I took admission in the only college of IPU which offered MMC.
