One of the best colleges for management

Course Curriculum -

The course curriculum of our college is good. MBA is a 2-year course duration with 4 semesters and the exams were held every four semesters. We chose our specialized areas in the 3rd semester and I opt for Finance as my specialized area.

Superb. Splendid. Very Happening

Remarks -

It's a good girls' college and the good thing about it is the strict rules which are mandatory to follow and instills discipline alongwith our freedom.

The admission in the college was not on the basis of any exam but solely on my board percentage in class 12th. The college had issued a cutoff list and as I cleared the cutoff I took admission in this college as my preference was always a girls' college and Maths has always been a strong subject in my schooling life.

Wholesome Experience

Remarks -

The college management surprisingly, truth be told, is very quick in their work. You would normally expect things to take their usual bureaucratic/government time to work but it really doesn't here. Apart from the minor hiccups one can get when one is made to run between departments to get some stuff sorted, it is overall really good. The 'running here and there' too in my opinion is important as it prepares us for the outside world. The world isn't all good and with rainbows and unicorns flying around. A whole lot of people exist and we need to learn to cooperate, tackle, take things in our stride and learn to just let minor things go. College prepares you for that.

To be able to get admission to B.Sc Biotechnology in Jamia, I had to give an entrance test devised by the University itself. The intake capacity is about 30-32 students, though they do add a couple more occasionally if a deserving candidate comes. When the results were out on the website of the University, scores weren't provided and thus I do not know how much I scored. Only the names of the selected and wait-listed students was published on the University's website. It (Jamia) is one of the be...

Remarks -

This is a good university to pursue your MA english in only if you didn't make it to one f the better more devoted to honest academic research and teaching, universities.

Entrance Preview -

I took the common entrance exam for MA English required by all who wish to apply to DU for masters in English and those students who did their graduation from DU but did not score a first class degree. The test was out of 100 where I scored a 69, placing 19th out of 500 or more students i did my BA English graduation from Calcutta University, and hoped to follow up with something better in the glorified country capital university, whose name everyone recognizes to be honest, it was particularly ...
