Likes

3 kitchens for different purpose like bakery, cooking etc
2 restaurant one is old one is new but only new one is used
Good campus placement as all 5 star companies come

Dislikes

Faculty is not good, most of them don't know how to teach
Infrastructure is too bad only 2 buildings a very small collehe
Kitchen equipments has old food stains, doesn't clean properly

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is ok but not too much you don't get full details of a subject. For real world 30-40% of curriculum applies Areas for improvement are for sure they should put more details in the subject according to the real world

Internships Opportunities

Almost every 5 star companies come like pullman aerocity with stipend 8000 They have all the core department where we have to wor like f and b , housekeeping, Front office, culinary s there is a lot to learn

Placement Experience

After 4th semester students become eligible for placement Highest package I don't know but average package is near about 300000 per annum My olans after getting degree is to do a job for sometime and open a cloud kitchen

Fees and Financial Aid

150000 is yearly fees , almost 70000 per semester fron 2nd semester till the end of the 6 semester course, i don't know about scholarship as i don't have any. Fees for the people of all categories are same

Campus Life

Campus life almost none as it is a professional course , clubs are there but there are very less events happening There is no sport in the college and no other co curricular activities take place. Very bad in sports are

Admission

Chose this college because it was number 1 in placement and was the nearest to my home For admission you have to fill the NCHMCT form and then give an MCQ based paper consists of logical reasoning, maths, english, social

Faculty

There are many faculty but they does not know how to teach some are very good as they know how to teach and in behaviour wise some are very good some are very bad In a year 2 exams are ther , mid sem and end sem Fail ratio is almost none

Night Life

No gym , but there is a cafeteria where they provide free lunch meals for the students , there is also a library there is a hangout area in college near the college's bake shop , and the are in front of the shop

Best college for Hotel Management in Delhi, with excellent industry connect and great faculty.

Likes

Faculties are knowledgeable and teach through modern and updated tools
Continuous mentorship by faculty and HOD.
Placements are very good and the best 5 star hotels are selected for internship and placements

Placement Experience:

75% attendnce with full payment of fees is one of the critieria. Also getting good grades is an add on for Management trainee position. All the students are placed in best of the hotels of Delhi, 5 star hotels. Average package is 3 to 5 lakhs. The college provides multiple opportunities for the students to get placed in the best hotel with the best package. I would love to see myself as a Hotel Manager in 2-3 yrs time. I m very much invested in this course and would like to prove myself for my family.

Compared to other colleges it does not have cultural activities
For teaching they use both hindi and english

After completing 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements The average package is 8 LPA to 10 LPA The percentage of students getting placement is 94% approximately As IHM Pusa ia brand in this industry you can shine wherever you are if you have gained the skills from them properly

IHM Pusa - An Inside View

Likes

State-of the art facilities and the infrastructure of the institute were a few of the best things that we highly appreciated in college.
Exposure to hospitality professionals helps in building and developing confidence along with gaining hands-on experience.
Extra-curricular activities like Swacchata Drive, People of Pusa, Visiting Faculties for Demo-sessions, etc., helps students with their personality development and their personal growth.

Dislikes

Poor connectivity inside the college area due to jammers.
Less number of hours hostellers can stay out for.
Less number of accommodation for students in hostels.

Placement Experience:

In second year of college, all the stuidents are required to go for Industrial training where many groups/organisations accept applications for Industrial trainees. Many hotel chains like The LEELA, ITC, LALIT, etc,. visit the college for placements along with other organisations from different industries as well. Post pandemic, the placement ratio has sky-rocketed to 70-80%.

Getting into this College is a matter of pride for an average student like me.As it was not easy to choose between many institutes which offered the same course but the scope for advancement in my skills here was the highest of all.I collected the application form from the admission window as I stay nearby the campus.After the joint entrance test by Kurukshetra University, I got selected for the interview, and with complete documents and essentials,I got into this institution to work towards my dreams.

The NCHMCT, organises an exam under the name of NCHM-JEE, where students who wish to apply and pursue their careers into the hospitality sector can appear and give the exam. There are mainly three category of colleges - Government, Semi-Government and Private Institutions. The story of IHM , PUSA

To enter any IHM, you must have passed your 12th standard with a minimum of 60% marks. The application form was filled on the NCHMCT website (http://www.nchm.nic.in) where you can register from Feb-May. They have reservations for EWS, OBC, SC, and ST. After the commencement of the examination, the ranks come and, on the basis of the rank cut off, are made for each IHM. The entire process of admission was very smooth.
