Good college, always memorable these college days. Near me my college TECHNO INDIA (TECHNO MAIN SALTLAKE) is one of the best colleges in West Bengal. No ragging there, no negative remarks. Always good and will be the same.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is the four years B-Tech course. Total 8 semesters. Exams are conducted by WBUT (MAKAUT). You have to give internal exams also. Course syllabus for ECE is good for learning. Exam pattern also good.
Placement Experience
Many companies come here for placement including TCS, INTEL, CGI, CTS, DELLOITE, WOPRO, BYJU, MINDTREE.etc. Most of them student who are eligible for placement get placed successfully. Industrial training is done by college.
College Events
Many technical and cultural events held here. Technical big fest EDGE. Cultural fest ANARKHONOUS. Even freshers party.In my department alumni meet is held name E-MERGE and Farewell CHEERIO. So learning with events here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I got admission here on 2015 then it was around 3.5 lakh but now It is around 4 lakh in 4 year total. I think it is good not more than other colleges. This total amount is divided in sem wise. Every sem you have to paid.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
I don't know about it very much. I think there has facility for scholarship and loan facility. Students have to contact with the college management for this issue. They are helping more regarding this.
Campus Life
In college has big field for students. We can play cricket or football etc. Even Techno India has football and cricket team. Anyone can join to show skills. Plays events also organized by cultural team. Even social activities also there like PHILANTHROPY, etc. Labs are very good for practical approach. New instruments are there for new learning.
Hostel Facilities
I stay with my friends in pg, not in hostel but the hostel is very good and price is also less. Girls and boys hostel is different. You can meet there good seniors who are always helpfull. Food also good.
Alumni/Alumna
From this year college starts alumni Association. Every passout student have to register to this association and make it bigger. You can contact seniors for studies related questions. They all are helpfull.
Admission
I got admission by getting rank in Joint Entrance Examination. Through the rank basis I got this college for an electronic s and communication engineer.In wbjee rank you can choose stream in college.
Faculty
All faculties are very good well educated and friendly. They are also help us anytime. They give notes and lectures are very usefull for exam purpose and for higher studies also. They are always encourage us.

Placement Experience
From the 3rd year, the students become eligible for campus placements, but I heard a lot that the 2nd also get placed sometimes. So you have to prepare for jobs from the first year. The companies like TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, AMAZON and many other companies visits our college to hire students. The highest salary package is 10LPA. 90% students get placements every year.

Jadavpur university is the no.1 university in west bengal and also it's ranked among the top 10 unversities from all over india. The admission process is also very tough as they select the deserving students for different branches accoring to their wbjee and jee rank which varies every year.

College infrastructure of St. Xaviers is very good. Classes have all the basic and modern facilities inluding projectors. Libraries are big enough. Also u can accessnto library through online portal. Wi-fi is there all around campus. The living spaces is clean and food provided in canteen is also hygienic
Placement Experience
The placement provide over here is best of all. Students get to go to biggie company like deloitte, exide, infosys etc. Placement cell help students and make the process a lot simpler and easy. Average salary offered here is 4 lacs per annum.

It is a very good college. The faculty are very good with well qualified. Also the college has a good enviroment for studies. Hostel life is good. Good placements. Laboratories are well equipped with modern instruments.

I searched for many colleges after my 12th exam and I found the college which charges a low amount of fees. My teacher suggested me that it is a really good college for Physics. The facilities are really efficient and helpful. The practical projects are nicely handled by the tecahers. So I think this college will be perfect for me.

You can go for campusing just after you enter to 4th year. And Electronic and Communication, Computer Science braches have very good records of placements in West Bengal. Infosys. Wipro. Tech Mahindra. Byjus. Vedantu. Topcon and many new companies come to my college. Almost 80~90 percentage got placed. I am trying to enter in IITs or NITS for a higher degree or any PSUs
Admission
I had submitted my application form in this college after completing my 12th grade exams. I had to write an entrance test in which I got 78% and was selected for admission. I paid the admission and first semester fee to secure my place.

We get good placement opportunities in our college. Many of our seniors were given jobs in good animation studios with good salaries. The college also provides internships to the students who are willing to take it up.
