Almost everything is positive and there is not much negative reviews but the are some issues on the water supply and drinking water when summer season arrives. There is also so much restriction to political party and to their activities
Yeah it's a very good college with a wonderful campus and also my course is very good. Good teachers good facilities, classroom, laboratory facilities etcetera. Overall it's a good campus but not a great one
No I'm a zoology student so i dont have any internship program. But the other departments like Bvoc has internship program and some of my friends told me that its great. They had their internship program in 6th semester of degree
Sorry I don't know anything about the placement and it's opportunity in my department. I think I is more seen in the computer science and other vocational course in my college. And I'm not doing any jobs right now and I will get a job after my postgraduation
There are my moments in my college life. It's so hard to forget and I cannot explain all of it. But I really enjoy the degree and now I am enjoying my post graduation too. The arts festival, college day, tour etcetera. All of these are great
There is no fee structure in my college. I was admitted by merit list so no fees. But there will be a small amount payment before every semester exams. And additional fee for the self finance student. And there are many scholarships too
There are good scholarships that is provided by the college and also the edusupport group for helping the poor student and they pay their academic expenses. I don't know anything about the loan facilities
They are great. We have Ncc army boy and girls wing also Ncc Naval wing. Also NSS and many other social groups. The sports are wonderful. I think we got almost all outdoor and indoor sports and I already talked about the labs
The infrastructure and facilities are brilliant and I'm a day scholar so I don't know much about hostel life but my friends told me that its enjoyable and very good facilities. Good food and rooms are great. We have 5 boys hostel
The senior students are very helpful in my degree life. They always help if I ask for help. And we have a great alumni Association called FOSA which contain the old students from the 1960s.they always help in the smooth functioning of the college
The exam structure is very strict.the exam will be in the respective allotted classes. I know it because I got my degree also from Farook college. Now it's my 4th year in Farook college. It's an autonomous college so exams are conducted by the college
First you have to give application online. And according to the merit list they call you for interview and then sort out the general sure list and waiting list. And after that the student on the surelist will get admission and of any students in the sure list fail to admit then the waitinglist will be considered
Faculty of the college are wonderful. They are very helpful and honest in their duties. They are thorough in the subject and teaches us brilliantly. They are also very much friendly to students and to others
The university provides marvelous placement opportunities. There are many renowned companies visiting the chamois. They hire deserving students. There are different selection processes for different companies. The package scale is also high. The highest pay scale is 8LPA.
The option to chose elective subjects in the semesters to help student show their interest and gain skills in the subjects that are remotely connected to the course. It also helps in minor projects that are an important part of the course.
The best remark I could make here is that the college gives you the freedom to work and push your ideas. The facilities like Cisco Thingqbator, Kerala Startup Mission and Fablab can take you to another level. The bad remark is that the institute's own premises are less and offer no hostels. But from 2020 onward the entire IIITMK is moving to the new international campus (in Technocity, 7km away from current location) having hostel facilities for all.
I was working in a start-up, which was run by my friends and myself, which offered an e-learning platform for competitive examinations. It was the first of its kind in Kerala too. Not so long after its establishment, I understood that we need data in bulk amount for better business. This leads me to search for online learning in popular websites like Udacity.
The best thing I found there is a Cisco Thingqbator (Maker space) where we can build IoT devices and more.Cisco is doing this project with partnershiping with Nasscom and Defy.Li2 conduct lot of workshops under Thingqbator about IoT and machine learning and lot of things.Even they mantor students to build their idea which is submitted under cohort programs hosted by them and provide all fecilities and equipments. This is the only one thing that I kike in this Institute. It is well maintained by Cisco not by our administration. That may be the reason it is well maintained.
CUSAT was ranked in in the 251-300 category for Asia, despite an endowment of under US$ 0. 5 million and in the 801-1000 category by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings of 2018. The National Institutional Ranking Framework, devised by Ministry of Human Resource Development to rate the Universities of India, ranked the university at number 30 in 2016 and the ranking dropped in 2017 to 86, before recovering to 69 in 2018, and to 65 in 2019.
Overall the college is really very good you can have a quality time there during this two year can explore the places along with your studies.
