Course Curriculum Overview

It has a big and bright future And for me personally it was a new course different from other regular courses like MBBS , Engineering,Law etc So I decided to try something new which I love to do So the reason why I chose this course and college is for my love towards cooking

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship is a part of course It has been be done in 2nd year The institute divides the students in two batches So in the 3rd semester one batch goes for IT and the other stays for the semester and in the 4th semester

Placement Experience

After completing 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements The average package is 8 LPA to 10 LPA The percentage of students getting placement is 94% approximately As IHM Pusa ia brand in this industry you can shine wherever you are if you have gained the skills from them properly

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for academic is 80K approximately for an semester and if you need to stay in hostel you need to pay 1 Lakh for sharing and non ac room and 1 & Half Lakh for single and ac room The fees is same to all the students

Campus Life

As it is a government institute it mostly prioritize national festivals The college has clubs for dance,singing,drama,art and crafts and others are related to the course They conduct sports day,farewell,freshers and annual day

Hostel Facilities

Room is not that facilitated When it comes to the food It is not that special They serve North Indian food As a south indian girl ,its difficult for me to have it Hostel costs 1 Lakh without ac and shared room And 1 & Half Lakh with ac and single room for a year

Admission

To join this college this college you need to clear an exam NCHMCT with a good ranks and then you can apply for this college And that's the only way to get into this college You can definitely chose this college if you wants good placements

Faculty

The faculty are too good in their work The course has four core department where you will be working You will be having one mid term exam and end semester exam which has both theory exam and practical exam

Night Life

The boys hostel has a gym and badminton court Both the hostel has a lounge The campus has lawn volleyball court and basketball court common for both boys and girls The college is in a remote place So you need to travel some distance

Best college for Hotel Management in Delhi, with excellent industry connect and great faculty.

Likes

Faculties are knowledgeable and teach through modern and updated tools
Continuous mentorship by faculty and HOD.
Placements are very good and the best 5 star hotels are selected for internship and placements

Placement Experience:

75% attendnce with full payment of fees is one of the critieria. Also getting good grades is an add on for Management trainee position. All the students are placed in best of the hotels of Delhi, 5 star hotels. Average package is 3 to 5 lakhs. The college provides multiple opportunities for the students to get placed in the best hotel with the best package. I would love to see myself as a Hotel Manager in 2-3 yrs time. I m very much invested in this course and would like to prove myself for my family.

IHM Pusa - An Inside View

Likes

State-of the art facilities and the infrastructure of the institute were a few of the best things that we highly appreciated in college.
Exposure to hospitality professionals helps in building and developing confidence along with gaining hands-on experience.
Extra-curricular activities like Swacchata Drive, People of Pusa, Visiting Faculties for Demo-sessions, etc., helps students with their personality development and their personal growth.

Dislikes

Poor connectivity inside the college area due to jammers.
Less number of hours hostellers can stay out for.
Less number of accommodation for students in hostels.

Placement Experience:

In second year of college, all the stuidents are required to go for Industrial training where many groups/organisations accept applications for Industrial trainees. Many hotel chains like The LEELA, ITC, LALIT, etc,. visit the college for placements along with other organisations from different industries as well. Post pandemic, the placement ratio has sky-rocketed to 70-80%.

A brief about ihm pusa

Likes

3 kitchens for different purpose like bakery, cooking etc
2 restaurant one is old one is new but only new one is used
Good campus placement as all 5 star companies come

Dislikes

Faculty is not good, most of them don't know how to teach
Infrastructure is too bad only 2 buildings a very small collehe
Kitchen equipments has old food stains, doesn't clean properly

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for placement Highest package I don't know but average package is near about 300000 per annum My olans after getting degree is to do a job for sometime and open a cloud kitchen

Getting into this College is a matter of pride for an average student like me.As it was not easy to choose between many institutes which offered the same course but the scope for advancement in my skills here was the highest of all.I collected the application form from the admission window as I stay nearby the campus.After the joint entrance test by Kurukshetra University, I got selected for the interview, and with complete documents and essentials,I got into this institution to work towards my dreams.

The story of IHM , PUSA

To enter any IHM, you must have passed your 12th standard with a minimum of 60% marks. The application form was filled on the NCHMCT website (http://www.nchm.nic.in) where you can register from Feb-May. They have reservations for EWS, OBC, SC, and ST. After the commencement of the examination, the ranks come and, on the basis of the rank cut off, are made for each IHM. The entire process of admission was very smooth.
