POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE REMARKS OF LOVELY PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY
REMARKS
College has a good infrastructure,good security and also the fee is feasible but the faculty generally lack of practical knowledge, it has many food options and there is also a hospital inside the campus which is very helpful
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
The fee structure is not very expensive but it depends upon the individuals score in the entrance exam,there are no donations in this college for any course,there is only just academic fee hostel fee also mess fee.
PLACEMENT WING
Placements are very good for engineering and mba students but as far as my course is concerned placements are very poor,Even international companies also recruit the people in lovely professional University
ADMISSION
I qualified LPU NEST exam and I got admission since I have good percentage in my 10th and 12th I even got a good scholarship,there is both online admission and also offline admission,the faculty of LPU visits every state and cities in state for admissions.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
Hostel has 24/7 power supply and wifi,it has geasers for Winters and coolers and ac's for summers,the wardens are really good and security is provided 24/7 no students will be allowed without I'd card in biometric and no outers are allowed without permission
ALUMNI
Senior students are really helpful regarding to agriculture course concerned,there is also a separate alumini survey conducted by the college which is very helpful for students and college also but I think it depends on thier communication with the seniors
FACULTY
The faculty is good,most of the faculty are doctors who have done PhD but the faculty who are teaching for lab are very bad they are just like lab assistants do not have practical knowledge,and no good knowledge about the field work
CAMPUS LIFE
Sports competitions are very frequently held in the campus,many inter school competitions are being conducted,there are also many activities conducted like spring festival in which art with flowers is done.
EXAM STRUCTURE
We will have 3 cummulative assessments where 2 best will be considered,one mid term and end term where end term has 50% weightage,mid term has 40% weightage and ca has 10%respectively.there will also be projects and seminars.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
It is good since the course is divided into 8 semesters and the final exams are conducted semester wise,for every theory course a practical course will also be assigned but in my opinion the practical course curriculum is not good
INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES
Yes,I have done 3months internship in cingenta seed company with 12000 stipend,there are more internships also available,for engineering and MBA students especially there are even internships in international companies.
COLLEGE EVENTS
One world-here the students will represent the countries present In the world they will arrange a stall and represent all the history of that country it's famous places,famous foods etc One india-same as one world here states in India will be represented the famous foods of all states will be available Youth vibe-this fest is conducted for 5days where go carting will be held and dj will be held Coke studio, spring festival,etc will be held
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
Students who have good score in LPU NEST or above 90%in 12th will get a good amount of scholarship,loan facilities are also available abudantly,there will be many banks providing loans according to the students percentage in previous degree
