JJ COLLEGE of arts and science is providing course which is suggested by TANSCHE Which is very effective as well easy for the students to learn.This college is a autonomous college and affiliated under Bharathidasan University.

Internships Opportunities

During my 2 sem holiday me and my friends went to an internship program which was suggested by my HOD and English Department.we went to PUDUGAI VARALARU MEDIA to complete our 15 day internship program . Their we learnt about journalism and Mass Communication that is very helpful for us to become a independent reporter and we also get certificate and grade points for that

Fees and Financial Aid

JJ COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCE is one of the best colleges around Pudukkottai.The college is collecting affordable fees from students.For MA English per sem they collected 10000and they also collected bus fees .

Campus Life

Functions are varies from department to department but I can assure that really we can get equal opportunity to participate in the events. Inter college and intra college events are conducted. This college celebrate women's Day, College Day in a big level.

Hostel Facilities

I am a day scholars so I don't have much knowledge about hostel but I can assure that JJ college hostel provides clean and spacious rooms, 24/7 water and electricity, nutritious food, good security, and a study-friendly environment.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

I chose this college because this is very familiar to me because I did my B.Ed here so that made me to join here again to complete my MA English. According to my experience I had a great time with JJ college . It is one of the best college for students.

Faculty

In this college a student can get the best student and teacher relationship. English department professors are very friendly and they are always ready to support students .The duration of MA English course is 2 years and it divided into 4 semesters for a year students have 2 sem exams .In the last year students have to take part in internships and projects.Teachers will give great guidance to the students to achieve their goals.

Night Life

Yes it has canteen facilities , libraries, net labs, ground and Indoor auditorium.And it also provide hostel facilities .it has separate hostel for men and women Which is safe and secure.My favourite hangout place is canteen and library

Good times by me

Likes

Things I like teaching methods , and separate library for all departments no other extra fees for academic
Hostel was neat , managed good , good atmosphere

Dislikes

I didn't like the hostel timing they want to increase time
Sports day was not there I our BA college we celebrate the sports day

They arrange properly for exam , exams are easy to all because of good teaching and properly seen by staff. To improve the student strength and staff also , benches to improve new methods Toilet to improve big Timing for exam was not suitable to all because not able to manage the times . And 2 staff to maintenance the room in exam hall to watch all students

The curriculum is well structured and comprehensive covering both theoretical and practical aspects of subjects so the coast layout is logical and the syllabus regularly updated. The curriculum is relevant to the industry of the faculty and the use the latest development the causes design with the skills and knowledge required to the field the teaching methods or innovative engaging the mix of lectures discussions case studies hands of projects so the faculty also increases in active participation and critical thinking.

Likes

I enjoy breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea and dinner, and all the kitchen facilities.
I admire all of the faculties for their warmth, caring and friendliness
I like the campus infrastructure such as the library, classrooms and media room.

Dislikes

I don't like salty water, but its bearable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In terms of the curriculum, I don't have any negative comments because it is designed by highly educated proffessors. Furthermore, it is an international level curriculum. I appreciated the teaching methods, Proffessors use powerpoint presentation as neccessary.

Likes

like the trees and a natural feelings and a best good feel
buildings are very big and good quality and
good college and nice proffers good teaching

Dislikes

nothing's to dislike the women students are very dangerous to like bad habbits and bad words speaking
hostel food was average and bathroom was worst

Remarks:

The college has good in the language before some few years back. And still now it’s somhow good in relevance in the studies but sometimes much more pressure and extra works that was not much necessary in the departmental curriculum. One bad things is the college didn’t listen to the students voice and opinions and students were considered as money. Much more pressure and once president said is finalised and no options. There is many stories within the students that cannot reveals but most of all they wait for the graduation.
