Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is designed under the guidelines of BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA and offers a strong foundation career in law. Exams are conducted at the end of the semester and internals are conducted once a semester
Internships Opportunities
College provides internships to the 1st semester students by themselves and every semester one internship has to be done and the certificate has to submitted to the college so that they can provide attendance
Placement Experience
There is a seperate placement and internship committee set up for the students in which any semester student can come for the interview whenever the placement drive will be held. College provides internships sometimes too
Fees and Financial Aid
• 1st semester to 10th semester fees: 40,000 per semester • Registration fees: 500 rs • Lab fees: 500 rs • Exam fee: around 2500 • OBC is given 3% concession on fees and SC/ST is given 5% concession on fees • Scholarship is based on family income • The fees has remained same from almost 10 years
Campus Life
Campus life at KSLW is vibrant mix of academics, cultural celebrations and personal growth. They organise freshers, teachers day and a fest KASTURI every year. The college has made different clubs for law students in which they can indulge
Admission
I choose KSLW for it's strong reputation in women's education, affordability and disciplined academic environment. The admission process was also very simple. The admission criteria was based on 12th score and merit base selection
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is balanced. Each batch has around 60-70 students and every subject is glhandled by specific teacher. Most faculty members are supportive especially when it comes to doubt and exam preparation
Interview Experience
There was only counselling while the admission process and there were no group discussions or written test for the admission. The college follows a merit based selection. The was very simple and straightforward
Night Life
Nightlife in KSLW is relatively quiet and safe for girls considering it's an all girls college. The college campus closes by 5 pm and hostel time is around 6:40-7:00 pm. The college doesn't offer late night events.
