Course Curriculum Overview

• the primary factor that influences to choose this course sol Delhi university is the DU prescribed curriculum The syllabus was well structured concept oriented • curriculum build a.strong theoretical foundation which is particularly useful for students who was planning for the competitive exam • increase particular component cases study and project Incorporating more industrial oriented and skill based modules • SOL follow the semester based examination system as per Delhi university guidelines exam conducted twice in a year

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees of collage is around in my first year is 7320. I also pursue the tution classes for 2 subjects because this 2 subject is week I am obc catagory i take reservations My batchmates fees is also the same as me

Campus Life

•Academic focus is strong,with multiple library resources and structured study materials •Festival and club are limited so the campus life is quieter compared with regular du collage •sports opportunities are improving especially with new sports policies •students run online community play a big role in peer support and social interaction

I don't apply for other collage I applied only In sol because I want to do side by side compitive exam and I don't have more time go with the another collage so that's why I don't applied for another collage I don't have rejected from other collage because I already told u I don't applied for other collage due to my another exam preparation •ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT ARE 1You must have passed 12 class from a recognised board •EXAM ACEPTED AND CUTOFF ARE 1. For pg course -no mandatory entrance exam is meeded admission is based on 12 marks SOL doesn't published cutoff list like regular •ADMISSIONS PROCESS AND APPLICATION 1. Create a profile on sol portal 2.enter personal and academic details 3.upload documents •FEE PAYMENT Fee payment is online • DOCUMENT USUALLY REQUIRED 1. Class 10 and 12 marksheet 2. Identify prof 3. Passport size photo

Faculty

At SOL FACULTY students ratio is quite high as comparing to regular du collage because large numbers of enrolled students.since sol follow a distance/open learning model Faculty I liked is: Explain concepts in short and exam oriented 2 provides clear notes and questions Faculty I don't like is : 1 Rush through the syllabus 2 have limited interaction due to the time Exam hard or easy 1 sol follow the same exam structure as regular 2 exam are moderate in difficulty 3 failure rate is moderate Relevance of course curriculum is: 1It matches the regular du course structure 2 useful for competitive exam

Night Life

1 GYM was limited in collage 2 cafeteria is available day time at study centre 3 library was available timing was 9:am to 5:pm(weekdays ) 4 Hostal is not available there is no official hostal Hangout spot was near by Kamla nagar Satya Niketan etc 6 Safety was moderate due to busy area

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. I chose this course because is provides a strong foundationfor higher studies, competetives exam and careers in the cmmerce field

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Shyam Lal College( Morning) Review

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Likes

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

Likes

Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.
