Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is highly relevant and well-structured. It covers core subjects in detail along with modern industry-oriented topics. The balance between theory and practical learning is good, which helps students build strong concepts and job-ready skills for the future.

Internships Opportunities

3

The college provides good internship opportunities through industry tie-ups and guidance from faculty. Students get support in finding internships that improve practical skills and careers exposure.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is clear: yearly tuition and lab fees total INR 4400 per year and INR 13200 for the full course. Scholarships are available for top scorers. Fees have been rising slightly each year but stay compettitive.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is lively and enjoyable with active clubs and events. Students get good chances to socialize and learn. The infrastructure is clean, well-maintained and supports both academics and extracurricular activities.

Admission

I chose this college for its better faculty, labs, scholarships and course structure compared to others. Some colleges had higher cut-offs. The admission process here was smooth, clear, and student friendly.

Faculty

5

The course has experienced faculty with good industry exposure. The syllabus is clear and well-structured. Exams are regular with a fair marking scheme. Overall, academic support and evaluation are student friendly.

Night Life

5

Nightlife around the college campus is peaceful and student friendly. There are a few cafes, eateries and safe hangout spots where students relax after classes. It is not very crowded, which helps maintain a good balance between social life and academics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
