Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science engineering is a course that is flexible enough as an computer engineer and apply for jobs in multiple domains be it tech or non-tech. The curriculum prepares a student for the corporate world very well. From getting to learn about the technical side to the ethical side teaching morals the curriculum is vast enough. The time gap between the mid sem and end sem exam is of two months. This time is enough to prepare for the exams as the difficulty level of the paper is a bit more than moderate.
Internships Opportunities
This time all the company that visited the campus and is visiting has started the internship cum ppo thing which means at first the students have to do internship for atleast 6 months and based on the performance the will get the ppo and converted to the FTE role.
Placement Experience
The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The year wise fees paid by the 2024- 2028 batch is 6lakh per year . Per semester the fees is 3 lakh The tution fees is 1.9 lakh Each semester you have to pay 1000 registration fees and 1000 for end semester exams fee Each year the tution fees is increasing Scholarship is available based on your CGPA, KIITEE Exam rank and JEE percentile
Campus Life
The annual fest name is KIIT FEST that happens in the month of February every year. All types of curriculum books are available in the library and also provided by the college every semester. Our college has an activity centre KSAC. Under KSAC there are various clubs and societies starting from anchoring and managing events to tech and cultural societies that help the students boost there confidence and showcase there talents. The student activity society is very active .
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are provided with a bed, mattress, table, chair and cupboards. Induction and washing machines are also provided in every floor. The hostel food is eatable but the quality is getting degraded day by day. The registration process for the hostel is done during the time of the admission. Certain hostels are good but the old hostels need renovation. According to the mess fees the food quality is not upto the mark.
Admission
I did not apply for other colleges. Before getting admission in KIIT I did hear good reviews about the college and placements here so I applied for the CSE course here. The admission process for KIIT University is simple. You have to register and give the KIITEE exam and based on your exam percentile and your 12th percentage you get selected. The admission process here is smooth and simple
Faculty
It's a 40:60 teacher student ratio. The faculty here is helpful regarding studies and other matters. 70% of the faculty is good and helpful enough but the 20% is just the opposite. There are in total 16 semester exams, 8 mid term exams and 8 end semester exams. Each semester consists of a mid term exam of 20 marks and end semester exams of 50 marks. The exams are moderate and scoring if studied properly. The course curriculum is relevant enough according to the course helping you to get industry ready.
Night Life
There are a lot of gyms within and outside the campus . There are a lot of cafeteria and food stalls outside the campus. The hostel in time for girls is 8pm and for boys is 10pm so there is no nightlife but evenings here are very cheerful, exciting and fun.
