Likes

The curriculum is AI generated, industry focused and practical learning through case studies and group projects.
The faculty and staff are very supportive, approachable and provide pre placement preparation.
The campus atmosphere is full of positive energy

Dislikes

During heavy rain the main road leading into shela becomes severely waterlogged
Public transport options directly to shela are limited
Canteen area is small due to which it becomes overcrowded during lunch hours

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum offers a great theoretical knowledge in the first year before entering into the practical exposure. Case studies, term project plays an important role in building the strong communication skills and confidence.

Placement Experience

Shanti business school offers Summer Internship Program that is for 8 week and begins after semester 1. Final placement starts from semester 3 onwards. Some the recruiters at Shanti business school are Hindustan Unilever, Coco Cola, HDFC Bank, Deloitte, amazon etc. Highest package is 16 lakhs and average package is 8 lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admmission the 65000 fees is to be paid for the admission confirmation followed by a semester fee of 18000. For hostel accommodation additional 72500 per semester is to be paid for double sharing

Campus Life

Bauddhika, Shanti Premier league, Cultural and Social gathering are the major events in Shanti business school. Classroom features projector, high speed WiFi. Court for cricket, football, basket ball and volleyball. Club and committee include SAMVAD as well as specialized domain club such as marketing finance etc.

Admission

I have applied to narayana business school and I secured admission option at narayana business school but decided to join Shanti business school. As Shanti business school offers an industry relevant practical pgdm curriculum. Candidate must hold bachelor's degree with minimum aggregate of 50%, entrance exam is must such ad CAT/ CMAT etc. than the college entrance exam is to be given. Once shortlisted through the exam stage appear fo the personal interview clearing it leads to admmission confirmation

Faculty

The relationship between the students and professors is positive. The faculties are approachable and maintain an open door policy after class. The exam range from moderate to difficult as they focus more on practical understanding rather than memorization.

Interview Experience

The admission selection process involves written entrance test and a personal interview. The written test followed a simple pattern designed to evaluate core academic concept and general awareness. Personal interview the topic given to discuss is Safety of girls in India and they asked straightforward questions regarding my academic background

Night Life

Life at shanti business school balance an intensive corporate focused routine. Campus life revolves around key facilities such as library, gym courts for games such as cricket football basket etc. From Classroom to late night conversation builds lifelong friendships and define the memorable experience

Dislikes

I did not like ahmedabad dranage system because of that we facing of water problem in rainy season

All the student are placed in a collage the placement percentage is 100% . more than 100+ companyes are come for placement soo that all the student are plced and get ther dream job for working proffesion . After summer internship program the company are start coming for a placement

A great start to my PGDM journey

Likes

I like the friendly and comfortable environment. Here you can interact with students and others
Faculty members are supportive They give us opportunities to interact and ask questions during sessions.
I like the campus and the activities conducted for students They give us opportunities to learn Outside regular classes

Dislikes

One thing that needs to be approved as waterlogging during rainy season because water gets collected around the campus and it gets difficult for the students to move around comfortably, specially for hostel students
Sometimes the schedule can get tiring back-to-back classes in sessions
I feel there should be more space for students in campus during breaks. They can go sit and learn their.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant to management and covers different areas that are useful for a PGDM student. It includes classroom learning along with practical activities. it is useful for understanding real world concepts. so far, I find the course structure Interesting and helpful

Great Learning Experience with good placement

The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. the campus environment is positive, with good infrastructure, industry exposure, regular guest lectures, and helpful placement assistance.

Placement Experience:

the college has a good placment cell and provides training through apititude tests, mock interview, and soft skill sessions. many reputed companies visit the campuse. Studensts become eligible for placement in the final, and the overall placement supporte is helpful for career growth.

there is a faculty is very supportive and always ready to guide students academically
the curriculum is practical and includes case studies , presentations those help me developing real world business skill
placement cell also provides training and support for internship and final placements

Dislikes

college sports facilities are less also the monsoon season some we are face some of problems

Dislikes

The campus is located far from central ahmedabad along the SP Ring road.
In Monsoon season very difficult to reach at college

The faculty members are helpful and explain the topics in a simple and practical way.
The campus environment is good, with useful facilities and a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The academic schedule is sometimes very busy, which gives students less free time.
There are many assignments and presentations, which can become difficult to manage sometimes.

the fee structure of the mba is very less compared to the other colleges
good classmates because people come from cmat and topppes only get admission
placements are good if you are satisfied with 6/7 lakhs a year

Dislikes

infrastructure of the campus is very poor
the faculties are average except one two, more from a teaching bg rather than corporate experience.
for me the average package is less, and some people also left by getting placed

Placement Experience:

good placements, avg is 6.5/7 ctc and in hand avg goes arounf 5 lpa, highest 17 lpa, lowest 4 lpa, median should be around 5 lpa, this is as per my batch(batch 23-25) it is similar in other batches and 80/90% students get placed easily if they are good and the placement cordinator also try to get the rest placed where the batch have achieves 100% almost every year. there are options after college if you dont get placement from college because it is core mba with subjects marketing finance and hr.

best palce to start journey of business studies

i applied in private colleges but in that the faculty are not PHD holders, curriculum are avrage as normal. i applied in gtu on merit basis of CMAT. nirma but they only consider cat asperiant , i got the addmission in narayana but their fees is high about 10lakhs but they not do any extra like sbs and thier curriculum is managed by GTU....Read More
