ISME PGDM

The curriculum is updated regularly according to the industry standard and we have placement orient value added term (POVAT) such as FMVA by Grant Thornton, Design Thinking, Excel/Python/Power BI, HR Analytics, and many more. We have Career Opportunity Cell (COC) because of which 200+ companies for campus placements such as Deloitte, E&Y, Grant Thornton, KPMG, Accenture, Broadridge, L&T, Dabur, Wipro, and many more. We also have industry visits which help us shape our real world insights. Our exams are based trimester system in which we have exams every 90 days on average.

Speaking from our seniors, they had their internship at ABB, Cognizant, TCS, TATA, and many more with average stipend being 20000 and highest stipend being 45000 in the summer internship. In the ITP, many students got converted through PPO's with packages ranging from 9 to 12 LPA

Last year, around 200+ companies came in our campus for recruitment from various sectors of various industries. Most of the students got converted through PPO's during the 4 to 6 month paid ITP program. Students become eligible for placements after passing all the exams in the third trimester and also after completing their POVAT courses. Top Companies that visited our campus are - Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y, Grant Thornton, Wipro, Dabur, Accenture, and many more. The average package was 9 LPA and the highest package offered was 17 LPA. The placement rate for the PGDM is 98%

Fee Structure is 10.95 Lakh for two years including 10-days international certification in Singapore. Scholarships and loan facilities are available for students. There is one-time security deposit worth 15,000 and books charged separately for 10,000. There is hostel with plenty of amenities.

We have TEDx organized in our college every year. We also have a lot cultural fests where there are activities like dancing, singing, sports activities like khelo re, technical fests like The. Buzzy Buzz, and many more. We have sports events and even intercollege events like marathon, basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, chess, carrom, and many more. The college also has social groups, student clubs like Adventure club, Sports club, Yoga club, Academics club, and many more.

In the room, everything is well equipped. If you want anything else, you can contact the warden and if approved, you'll get the problem sorted out. Food quality is subjective. If you ask me, I find the food as eatable. Not too good, not too bad. And the message menu changes every quarter with the recommendations of the students itself.

I applied to IIBS, GIBS, UAIU, & ISME. The reason why I went for ISME is because, 1. Small batch size 2. Bangalore as a tech and startup location 3. EFMD accreditation & AACSB member 4. 2 months summer internship + 4 months industry trajectory program 5. ITP helps majority of the students to get PPO's Eligibility for admission into PGDM, 1. Profile based selection 2. Accepted entrance scores - CAT, CMAT, MAT, NMAT 3. Minimum 60% in X, XII, & UG 4. GD round followed by PI round

Faculty-to-student ratio is 1:12. Students also have mentorship programmes which also includes guest lectures, industry practitioners, and many more. I faculty I like the most is Dr. Purnajit Chatterjee who is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad. He has a great knowledge about business and I just love the way he expresses complex topics in very easy words. We follow a trimester system. And we have a total of 6 trimesters. Regarding exams, we have mid-term and end-term. The PGDM curriculum is regularly updated and is also according to the industry standard. Hence, the college follows a strict attendance of minimum 80% to appear for the exams.

In GD, we were a group of 10 peers. We were given the topic of the shortage of LPG gas cylinders where we were to discuss with each other as managers professionally and carve out s suitable and a logical solution. After that, I faced a 1-on-1 interview with a faculty of my chosen specialization in the application form. The faculty then assessed me on the basis of my academic scores and also my entrance exam score. Then they assessed me according to my chosen specialization by asking basic questions and also by asking current affair questions.

We have a cafeteria which follows strict timings. Also the hostel follows strict timings. At night everyone in the hostel is supposed to be at their rooms for biometric attendance. Once inside the hostel at night, no one is allowed to go outside unless there is an emergency.
