Industry Focused Opportunities and Internships

I had applied into colleges such as NDIM Delhi, IFIM Bangalore and ISME Bangalore for my post graduation studies. I have compared the factors such as faculty experience, industry exposure and more importantly how good this college gonna help in my specialisation which is Business Analytics and they have good curriculum and faculty for this specialisation. Whereas Bangalore is also great place for exposure and it is the IT hub of the India. Which may help me in growth and skills.

The course curriculum is very relevant according to present needs and industry exposure. I want to gather more knowledge into my field which business analytics. The curriculum of the college strongly supports the my area of interest. The frequency is little quick but it is very good at the same time.

There are two internships: 1. The summer internships which start at the end of 1 year and which is of 2 months. 2. There is ITP ( Industry Trajectory Program ) which paid internships for 3-4 months with big major companies like KPMG, Deloitte etc . There is Placement oriented value added term in second year of PGDM program.

The College placement is decent which is around 8 lakhs as an average and rest is upon the students how they gather knowledge and perform in interview. The percentage of placement of 95%. The companies visited here are KPMG , Deloitte, EY, TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc.

The campus life is pretty good as here is good balance of academics, social activities and extracurricular activities. There is variety of books available of academics along with other books categories like novel etc. The classroom of college is well organised and have smart tvs for more advance learning.

The hostel facility includes - - Study room - Every room has personel study table and cupboards - Have filter drinking water facility - Washroom are pretty clean and quite big. The meal are good as it consists of every regions food and tasty is also quite good.

Faculty are from IIM's and IIT's and all of the faculty have international exposure and had being in corporate sector and there are guest lectures coming every week. The faculty - student ratio is 1:12.

Yes, There is group discussion after the selection process based on academics and entrance scores. After group decision there personel interview with college faculty panel. I have prepared by gathering general knowledge and interview practices.

The night life is normal and pleasent as the infrastructure of the college pretty good regarding buildings or nature. The college have library which opened till 8 pm and public area is around 9 pm. Hostel timing and campus timing is same which 9 pm.
