Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum offers strong pharmaceutical knowledge with practical exposure, preparing students for careers and higher studies. More industry training, internships, case studies and interactive teaching would help. Exams are conducted regularly and are generally moderate to difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered in pharma, hospitals and healthcare companies in roles like Production, QA/QC, Clinical Research and Medical Coding. Stipends vary by company. Projects include formulation, quality testing, documentation and clinical-data analysis, giving practical industry exposure.
Placement Experience
Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Pharmaceutical and healthcare companies visit the campus and offer roles in sales, production, quality control, regulatory affairs and clinical research. The highest and average packages vary by company and year, usually depending on the profile offered. A good percentage of eligible students get placed. After completing my B.Pharm, I plan to gain industry experience and pursue higher studies or specialize in a suitable field.
Fees and Financial Aid
“During my B.Pharm course, I pay ₹18,000 per annum, including tuition fees, registration, admission, development, laboratory, caution deposit and all other compulsory charges. There are no additional fees. Fees may vary according to category such as Management, General, SC/ST. My batchmates from other categories pay approximately ₹75,000 per annum.
Campus Life
The college generally have only one fest tara , as the focus is mainly on academics. The library has textbooks, reference books, journals and other study materials, with resources accessible to students. Classrooms have basic technological facilities such as projectors and digital teaching aids. Sports and extracurricular activities are available, though opportunities are limited. There are no major student-run clubs or social groups, so student participation outside academics is limited.
Admission
I applied to a few other colleges but chose my present college because of its course availability, location and overall convenience. I did not face any major rejection. Admission was based on eligibility and merit, with qualifying entrance exams considered as applicable. The process was straightforward, and the cutoff depended on category and admission quota.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is good, and the faculty members are approachable and supportive. I liked the faculties who explain concepts clearly and help students with doubts. There are no particular faculties I dislike. Exams are conducted regularly, and the difficulty level is moderate. Most students clear the exams with proper preparation. The B.Pharm curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning.
Night Life
Library, sports facilities and recreational areas on campus. College timings are generally 9 AM–4 PM, while hostel timings/curfew may vary according to hostel rules. The library provides books, journals and digital resources. Popular hangout options include the campus cafeteria only
