- My experience at lissah has been mixing of challenges. Psychology depart has supportive teachers and classes is good
- Campus is peaceful and it’s so greenery there are opportunities to take part in different academics
- I also like that the psychology department has its own lab and practical exposure and Lissah is well known for psychology itself
Dislikes
- I feel that there could be more programmes activities and opportunities for students to make college life
- Location could feel like quiet and it’s not in town area
- Those who prefer more active atmosphere I would not recommend here
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose bsc psychology because I was interested in understanding human behaviour. The curriculum covers different areas of psychology along with subjects such as major psychology minor statistics and physiology then English mdc . Since I am still in my first year I have only experienced the initial part of course
Internships Opportunities
I am in my first year so I have not done and internship through the college yet. I am still learning about the options given for students. For psychology I feel that work in hospitals , NGO's and care centers can give useful real life learning.
Fees and Financial Aid
Bad psychology fees is around 12600 per semester . Additional fee may collected separately .i have not personally received a scholarship but the college provides scholarships and it has many clubs like placement cell and all
Campus Life
My experience with campus life so far has been mixed campus has a peaceful atmosphere and the basic facilities needed for academics are available.there are opportunities to participate in sports, cultural programmes and others extra curricular activities but I feel that more regular events clubs and students activities would make campus life more interesting
Admission
I choose Lissah college because it has well reputation for psychology and I wanted to go for bsc psychology. I had also considered other colleges but I thought Lissah is best for the bsc psychology course.however after I joined I realised choosing a college is about more than just a course and reputation
Faculty
Faculty members in psychology department are approachable and they explains the topic clearly.my class has around 38 students so it is possible to interact with teachers and clarify doubts.syllabus covers both practical and theoretical aspects and the faculties are so friendly
Night Life
Night life is quite limited compared to colleges in bigger city areas. Campus and places nearby are generally quiet we students usually spend their free time with friends in pg hostel or near by bakery shops. Locality feel peaceful but even though I would prefer having more cafés and places where we could hangout
