Course Curriculum Overview
For Biotechology personally I wouldd say it needs to improve a lot , because whatever is taught is only like rote learning . For real world a student from this background has to suffer. Internships should be provided by the proffs , so that students can get practical knowledge of everything .
Internships Opportunities
Lots of companies visit , I got Internship at Raspa Pharma which is the pharmaceautical company based in Lucknow , stipend offered was 15 k for 6 months , there I got to learn a lot , everyone was so nice , got to learn a lot , got industrial exposure.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.
Fees and Financial Aid
72000 is the year wise fees, it includes all in which 24000 is the hostel fees rest are tution fees and registration fees , lab fees fees everyting . My batchmates whose family income was morre than 500000 they used to 186000 per year. Mess fee was 50000 for everyone.
Campus Life
Annual fest includes CULRAV-AVISHKAR one of the biggest techno cultural fest of our college , campus life was god , one get lot's of opportunites to improve and enahnce their personality through college clubs and fest.
Hostel Facilities
We got hostels with bed , table , Almirah , Chair , Fan , meal was the best , and geyser facility in winters , In addition to that we got bus facility , and we had a dispenasry which provides free mdiaccl services to students.
Admission
The time I chose this college , it has good placements , also the colleges NIRF ranking was high. I choose this college because it was one of the Top 5 NIT's in INDIA , it was very close to my hometown . That's Why I chose this.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio was good ,there were around 40 faculties per department , biotech department was small so there were 15 faculties . I liked Proffesor Shivesh Sharma , Rupika Sinha the way they teach and motivate students. Manisha Sachan , NKS Singh , I did not like them . 4 exams per year , two mid sem and two end sem , exams are easy one can easily get good marks .
Night Life
We have gyms , good campus , cafes , atheletic ground , Badminton , Volleyball ground , Multipurpose hall and Seminar halls, 4 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel , amazing campus , we have a library , and club activities which makes campus life beautiful.
