Application Deadlines at INSEAD, Asia Campus
INSEAD MBA deadlines vary for the two intake seasons- September & January. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, therefore, applying as soon as possible will be the best shot for international applicants. Although, both the intakes are equally competitive and are equal in class size, applying for the January intake can be more fruitful as the summer internship period is included in the January intake. The acceptance rate for September intake is 39% and that for January intake is 23%.

Application deadlines for the Masters in Management September 2021 Intake takes place round-wise too. Within each round, applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. INSEAD Admission Requirements & Application Process for International Students
A large number of international students decide to study in Singapore. INSEAD is one of the best B-schools in the world, most desired by Asian students. Indian students comprise nearly 10% of the population every year at INSEAD, Singapore.
Full-time MBA at INSEAD is a 10-month program while MIM and GEMBA take 14-month.
Following are the prerequisites for admission to any programs at INSEAD: (h4)
- Online Application (including uploading photograph, setting personal profile, & describing job profiles, if applicable)
- GMAT or GRE scores
- English Language Proficiency Test Scores
- Official Academic Transcripts
- Two professional Letters of Recommendation
- A resume or a CV
- Video Interviews (for MBA)
- Student Pass/visa to study in Singapore
- Photo, and Proof of adequate financial resources for visa application.
- Passport / Birth Certificate / Identification Card
- Medical report (if applicable)
Although there is no minimum GPA/GMAT score stated by the admissions office, candidates are advised to score in the 70th-75th percentile to get guaranteed admission at INSEAD and 80% in GRE for the same. The average GMAT score for admission observed is 703 and the average GPA is 3.5.
For candidates graduating from non-native English speaking countries are required to submit a certificate of English Proficiency. These are the recommended scores for English Language Tests:
- TOEFL (equal or above 103)
- IELTS (equal or above 7.5)
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic (equal or above 70)
- Certificate of Proficiency in English test (recommended score equal to or above B)
Admission Procedure for MBA or MIM
Candidates need to follow these simple steps to apply for a full-time master’s degree in management or business administration:
- Submission of Online Application along with supporting documents.
- Completion of video interviews. Four questions can be expected in these interviews.
- Interview with the alumni as decided by the Admissions office.
- Evaluation by the Admissions Committee
- Final Decision
Visa Process for International Students
International students must have a student pass(visa) to study in Singapore. The student visa application must be applied at least a month prior to the academic year.
The applicant must keep the following documents handy in the process of applying for a student pass(visa) to study in Singapore.
- Passport
- Letter of acceptance from the university.
- A printed copy of e-form and form V36.
- GRE, GMAT, TOEFL and IELTS scores (if required for the course).
- An application fee of 22 USD and 44 USD.
- All official academic transcripts
- Birth certificate proof
- Financial support statement/s
The INSEAD application review process usually takes up to ten weeks. The process is made to evaluate applicants on the criteria of ability to contribute, academic capacity, international motivation, and leadership potential.
