University of Gothenburg
University of Gothenburg : data science
Right from scratch when I entered the university I was empowered to make the best choices for my future career. After taking admission in the course I was assigned a student group that helped me in my further journey in Sweden. An unconditional acceptance letter from the university helped me to take my application forward.
Applied Data Science is multi-disciplinary by nature, and this program was designed to allow space for us to create our own profiles by choosing optional courses. I was also given an opportunity to choose courses in areas such as Data Science methods, courses in technical areas and technologies. We were particularly encouraged to supplement the compulsory courses.
The need for Data Science was on an increase and that called for opportunities and challenges. Thus I decided to study this course. In order to study this course, I was required to appear for the IELTS exam and I scored 7 bands in it. A personal letter, grades from previous higher education, and some visa documents were also required to be submitted at the university's admission department.
The full program cost was somewhere around SEK 286,000
I lived in an off-campus accommodation that cost me around SEK 20,000 per year. The charges also included the meals charges as well as room rent. The rooms, as well as the food provided, was up to the mark. The rooms were well fitted with modern fittings. And for the food, we used to get delicious and quality delicacies.
My university arranged a lot of events from time to time with the help of us and professors. Some of the events were Aerosol researchers gathered in Gothenburg, Spruce Forest on Drained Peatlands Bad for Climate, 8th biennial meeting of the Gothenburg Air and Climate Centre, and Climate change behind the highest ocean temperatures in the Pacific in 800 years
Monthly Expense : $2500 - $3500
