Studying Networking course at Linnaeus University
Following completing my upper secondary I was planning to study in Germany. But then I did not find any course of my interest. After that, I tried to explore the courses in my home country. Then I came across Linnaeus University. And one thing led to another.
Currently, I am studying a number of topics such as operating systems and databases. However, its primary focus is on the network and security areas. The administration of networks, mobile, wireless security, and distributed systems is the focus of the course. And this will help me become an expert in the course.
Trojans, rootkits, phishing and other threats to both individuals and businesses are some of the topics that I wanted to study. Thus studying network security was the best option. After qualifying the basic requirement of getting a good grade in Mathematics I was given admission in the course.
Each professor takes the lectures approximately two to three a week. And then we are supposed to submit a weekly file to them. After getting marked on those reports semester exams also take place.
I am studying from a bunch of experienced professors, who bring real-life field-based knowledge to our classrooms. They provide us with practical experience, surrounded by social and cognitive development. Our learning sessions are made more interactive and discussion-based with their continues efforts.
I did not pay anything for the tuition fee. Because being a Swedish resident I am exempted from paying it.
Being a Växjö resident I do not require to live apart from my family. In the morning I generally take a mode of public transport to the university. And in the evening my dad picks me up.
Monthly Expense : $1500 - $2500
