It was one of those closer to home but still with a good reputation and offering the course I wanted. The entry requirements also fit my A level results and the people at the open day seemed nice. The course was selected through clearing.
So far seems fairly basic, learning the background of biology and micro and cellular biology. Topics get increasingly interesting as years progress.
It had accreditation for its a degree which is required for registration with the institute of biomedical science. Only 1 and half hours drive from home so able to easily go back during holidays to see family members.
The course curriculum follows accreditation. The first year is extremely helpful in recovering key concepts as well as introducing the anatomy and physiology of the human body in more detail than covered during a level.
